I have had Melanoma. I am high risk. My cousin is fighting for his life with mulitple melanoma related cancers. So, I went in with a few suspicious lesions, and for those I was seen in 5 minutes - she burned them off, and told me in a rushed manner when and whether to come back. Previous skin doc would have given me a sheet of paper with explanation and follow up recommendations. The two spots I had burned off are still there one month later. I paid out of pocket nearly $400 for those 5 minutes, am concerned about going back to get another 5 minutes of useless information...

I've been going to Bend Dermatology for several years now. I've always had such a good experience. I go there for regular skin checks and have had Mohs surgery there. The physicians and staff are wonderful and never try to do more than what's needed for me. They are so knowledgeable and treat patients so well! I would recommend Bend Dermatology to anyone.

Dr. Trautman uses a Dermascope to guide her treatment plan. Many doctors will guess and cut. She is professional, knowlegeable, and we both agree to biopsy if there is a shadow of a doubt. I’ve had three melanomas, and Dr. Trautman and I team up on my treatments. I have recommended her to many.

Dr. Trautman is one of the smartest and professional doctors that I have come across. She is very thorough and takes time to really explain things. I've needed regular skin checks for years due to sun damage from my youth, Dr. Trautman is the best dermatologist I've seen and I'll be sticking with her. She removed a worrisome spot that had her concerned and took time away from her vacation to call me with the results of the biopsy. Thankfully the news was all good!
