This doctor misdiagnosed me with dementia without any testing or supportive evidence. I have been seen by many physicians, social workers, therapists, and trainers since his diagnosis, and they all disagree with this diagnosis. Yet, this physician had my driver's licenses suspended. He was supported to give the DMV medical documentation, specific event information and the name of a witness and he was not able to do any of that. He left me isolated, vulnerable, and unable to take care of my own needs, which was hard, particularly during COVID. It tool me a year and a half to get through the DMV process to get my license reinstated and I passed everything with 100%. This doctor was cruel during the process and even gas-lighted me. Do not see this doctor! When a doctor behaves this way, a person has no recourse.
I went on the required new patient visit in order to be part of the practice when I moved to Bend. The doctor was OK at best. He really didn't do much but take my blood pressure and heart rate. He never even requested my records from my previous doctors. When I did have them sent over, I was told by the nasty assistant that it would take a month for them be entered into the system. Mind boggling.... they were sent electronically!
Dr. Allumbaugh misdiagnosed my son when he was two months old. If I would have listened to him my son would not be alive today. I also know of a couple of other people who have been misdiagnosed by him in the community. One of them including my pastor. This doctor should no longer be practicing medicine because of his negligence.
Dr Allumbaugh has been our family doctor for over 10 years. He is a great doctor. Always makes the kids feel comfortable and jokes with them and always has a smile on his face. He's been very informal when needed and we will be very sad if he ever retires or leaves the area.
Dr. Allumbaugh was incredibly kind, gentle and a wonderful listener. He asked questions and cracked jokes making a visit for illness more bearable. I appreciate his communication skills and ability to look and care for the whole picture.
This guy likes to cure his own ailments with natural foods, but he gives a young woman of 18 years LITHIUM the first time he meets her.

I have since moved to Colorado, but wish I could have brought Dr. Allumbaugh with me. I've been so pleased to having Dr. Allumbaugh as my primary physician. He also cared for my mother prior to me. He is honest, trust worthy, caring with compassion, personable, professional, answers all questions, good listener. The only negative thing that I can say, is that he's not in Colorado. I will miss him as my primary doctor!
