List of Travis Monchamp's Reviews
Dr. Monchamp has spent considerable time listening to my health concerns and carefully managing treatment to keep me feeling my best.
Dr. Monchamp is very knowledgeable and has a good team.
Went to talk about symptoms for taking Levothyroxine and Dr. Monchamp told me it sounded like I had PTSD. At first I thought, well maybe I have anxiety. But as I did my own research...and was under the care of a Functional Medicine Doctor who knows how to treat Hashimoto's...my levels were off and one of the very common side affects is anxiety, heart paps, etc. Good job doc...tell me I'm crazy and ignore the facts. Amazing how many endo's don't really know how to deal with Hashimoto's . Sad.
..my RX refill was called in by this office with the wrong drug name and wrong quantity two times in the past 6 mos.
I have hashimoto's thyroiditis. I found him uncaring and uninformed, a total WASTE of time. I'm not sure how he is suppose to be a thyroid specialist. Really, Monchamp! Read a book. I recommend Issabella Wentz's books. You are rude and condescending. I was not impressed.
One of the most knowledgeable, kindest physicians I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Really knows his field.
Best doctor I've been to in 15 years, he isn't the overbearing You are doing everything wrong type he is the What can we do to help you help yourself? type, which is really appreciated after my past doctor experiences. I looked for years and after seeing Dr. Monchamp for 3 years my health is the best it has ever been. I'm thankful for my doctor and will continue to see him until I move away, or die.
We couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Monchamp. My husband suffered with terrible neuropathy for years. He is the only physician who resolved the problem, adjusted his insulin and prescribed the right medication. He feels 20 years younger and is able to walk again and enjoy life. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful doctor.
Dr. Monchamp is a good physician but his office staff are unprofessional, disorganized and rude. On one occasion I was made to wait while the front receptionist held a private conversation that was of personal nature with another staff member then after checking me in she made several personal calls which I got to enjoy while waiting for my check up. Then when I tried to schedule my next appointment she was again on the phone with a personal call, I just left at that point. I am changing doctors because after many issues with calling for appointments or trying to get blood workups ordered the staff of Dr. Monchamp has made the experience not worth keeping him as my physician. Keeping your staff in line shows someone who is concerned with his/her practice and in control of every aspect of his/her patience health and well-being.
I like the doctor: he listens, has no problem with me doing research on my own and asking questions, and takes the time to explain his diagnosis and treatment recommendations. However, the office has some problems. Frequently they don't answer the phone during office hours, and their answering machine is set up so that it doesn't take messages. When my internist first referred me her office faxed over lab results with a request for them to call me to schedule an appointment: no response for several days. I called to schedule and was told they never received the request. The internists office had a record of it being sent but sent it again and then I had to call again to make the appointment. Twice after this Dr. Monchamp's office was supposed to send lab results to my other doctors but never did.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
