Andrea Prabhu's Online Review Report Card

While she was kind and sweet, it wasn't until the week before i gave birth to my daughter that i found out about two major concerns i had during my whole pregnancy. And if it wasn't for my decision to have my baby sooner then everything could have been worse. The dr that delivered her, said he would not have waited as long as she did, and i should have had an emergency c section. Felt like she was more concerned with her own life than her patients. I would never go to a doctor that refrains from serious medical information.

Dr. Prabhu is the best OBGYN doctor I have been to. She has been my doctor for many years now. From surgeries to check ups, Dr. Prabhu really cares about my questions and concerns. Even after moving to Utah for school I still come back for my appointments with Dr. Prabhu. She is just that awesome.

Very non-communicative during labor, does not offer options and/or reasons for her care recommendations, will not come to bedside to talk with patients and/or answer questions.

I love how factual she is. I have been to 5 OBGYNs over the years, and many of them tend to make opinionated comments about my personal choices (not wanting children, etc). I asked about sterilization and she was very factual (about procedures/chances of regret). She didn't demean my decisions with personal bias, she was professional and answered every concern. She including my partner in the conversation where others typically ignore him. I really appreciate her approach and logical attitude.

Appeared to be very uncaring during my delivery, she would not allow me to ask questions to her during the process as she stood so far away when she would visit I couldn't speak to her. When she recommended a course of action I was forced to respond to the nurse-discouraging discussion and making me feel like any questions or concerns I had were of zero importance to her. When I asked her a direct question after the delivery she refused to answer and only responded with "that's a good question".

Dr. Prabhu is the best doctor I've ever had. Throughout my pregnancy she helped calm my nerves by explaining procedures and conditions thoroughly. She never made me feel rushed. When I came to her with complications and tons of worries she helped come up with a reasonable plan of care. She is a very pragmatic and thoughtful decision-maker and genuinely caring.

Best OB I have had! She is kind, upfront and explains things thoroughly. She delivered our first baby and she is our doctor for our second as well.

I had Dr. Prabhu when she was with the University of Washington a few years ago. I still haven't found a gynecologist or any doctor for that matter as kind and caring as Dr. Prabhu. She really is one of a kind.

Dr. Prabhu is a fabulous Doctor! She delivered my baby and was very laid back and super nice throughout the whole experience. I highly recommend her!!
