Angela Passanise's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Passanise was professionally personal. From the initial meeting, through pre-op, post-op and everything in between. She and her exceptional staff/co-workers (Dr. Matthew Taylor, Brandon Dean and Kirsten(sp?)) made me feel comfortable and well informed. They thoroughly and thoughtfully addressed any questions or concerns I had. Thank you for making the best of my situation. You truely helped me in getting back to living life!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and right to the point.She gave me an injection and was very skillful in not causing me any pain. I highly reccomend this Doctor .

Could not have been more pleased with her as a surgeon. Does marvelous work and her follow-up care is second to none. She repaired my torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. Would recommend her highly for shoulder or knee surgery.

I have had two shoulder surgeries by different surgeons and BY FAR Dr. Passanise is the best at what she does. She is empathetic, precise and through and takes time with her patients. I highly recommend her for you orthopedic needs.

Not very thorough. I had major knee pains/swelling, she offered nothing new, did not seem to listen or look for causes beyond simple mechanical issues already known to me, but none of which would have caused the issues I was having. Ultimately just suggested I try to hold out till I'm 60 to get a knee replacement (16 years off at that point)... i asked her about stuff I'd read, which she dismissed and even seemed offended by my questions. After about a year of PT, I persisted with other orthopedic doctors and it turned out I had a disc bulge that was referring pain to my back (imaging to determine that ordered by another physician in her office, who stuck thru finding a cause with me)... Ultimately, after more PT for my back, I resolved the bulge issue but still had treatable knee symptoms and was able to get the right diagnosis and treatment to calm down bursa on the outside of my knee, and now can run and hike/bike/surf/snowboard again.

Everyone at this clinic is professional, friendly & Very patient oriented. Dr Passanise is caring, listens to what you have to say. I never feel rushed. She’s very thorough and up front about surgeries & options. She a very busy Dr but I’ll wait for an appt rather than see someone else. She saved my arm & shoulder & I’ll be forever grateful.

While Dr Passanise is a competent surgeon, she is concerned with protocol and does not listen to family or patient information about their history which has proven deleterious to patient health. While she is interested in sports medicine, her sensitivity to her older patients is limited.

As a female athlete, I have searched for a female orthopedic that really understood me. Dr. Passanise listened to me and my concerns, did an awesome job on my knee repair and helped give advice on my rehab. As an athlete herself, she was able to give me some great advice and really coach me through the process. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Very thorough exam. Compassionate and caring. We will be back to see her!
