Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Christopher Leesman's Reviews
Dr. Leesman has been my primary care physician for over three years now. He is a good listener and has spent time and thought in helping me address an odd health situation. I have great confidence in him and definitely recommend him and also Corvallis Family Medicine where he works.
I have been treated by Dr. Leesman for common ailments, have had several annual checkups and have benefited from his skills at osteopathic manipulative treatment. Dr. Leesman is a careful listener, and is most willing to engage in thoughtful conversation about the nature of an ailment and its treatment. He seems to very much enjoy his work as a health care provider.
I had gone to Dr. Leesman for over 5 years and he was never able to fix any of my medical problems. He doesn't seem to listen very good or else doesn't reply to when you tell him something. I would not recommend him as a doctor.
I went to Dr. Leesman at Corvallis Family Medicine after suffering from a shoulder injury. He performed a very brief exam and declared that I was suffering from bursitis. He suggested I take Advil and limit my activity. When I attempted to explain to him that I had already been resting my shoulder since I had injured it (a month prior), and that my symptoms seemed to indicate something much worse going on in my shoulder, he ignored me. I ended up switching doctors and had to have surgery for a >50% tear in my rotator cuff and cartilage damage. Dr. Leesman failed to do a thorough examination or listen to what I was telling him, causing him to completely misdiagnose a serious condition. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
