Edward Piepmeier's Online Review Report Card

I’d say Dr. Piepmeier is one of the most experienced doctor I’ve ever seen in immediate care. I can tell he’s not fan of greetings etc but I really like his way of explicitly saying my options and warning me with any downside of taking a certain medication(eg. some meds can make me feel better but can shut down the immune system and eventually make the illness takes longer to recover).

Ive never felt so confused in a medical office in my entire life. He was very short. He asked me what I think I have (mono or strep throat). I havent had either so how am I supposed to know the difference. Pretty much asked what test I would like to take and when I asked for advice he shrugged his shoulders. As soon as I took my test he left the room. No confirmation about the pharmacy’s Im using. No have a good day. Ive never felt so uncomfortable at an office I just wanted to leave asap. Seems like this is common for him

The worst hospital experience I have ever had. I went to immediate care due to severe covid symptoms and not being able to breathe after being advised by an advise nurse to go to the hospital. After waiting an hour, he comes in and tells me I’m fine and that it’s common knowledge that there is no cure for covid. I obviously knew that there was no cure but I went in to treat my symptoms and he minimized them substantially. I told him that if he was going to just come in and tell me there’s no cure, I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming in. He rudely responded with “I don’t know what to tell you” and said that I started being disrespectful as I was sitting on the table sobbing from the pain. He then got up and said he was leaving and that I needed to go too. I will never see him again. Doctors are supposed to help patients, not make them feel bad for their symptoms and tell them they’re fine. Glad I’m not the only patient who has experience poor medical attention from him. It says a lot about the clinic that he still practices there.

Gave the basic info when I went in for a UTI test, but definitely could use improvement in people skills. Told me there was blood in urine and when I asked what could cause that he said 'you tell me'. Other uncomfortable moments when talking about female body as 'down there'. Sheesh.

IMHO he missed his bedside manners class in college.

My 82 year old mother was discharged from another hospital after knee replacement surgery. She slept for hours once home, which I assumed was pain meds. When she woke, she started having weird spasms, was very confused and not making sense. I took her to emergency at Curry General and Dr. Piepmeier admonished me for not caring for her properly and told her she was dying. This distressed my mother to the the point of almost hysteria. It took me hours to calm her down. It turns out, she was dehydrated. She was admitted and given fluids and was discharged the next day. This doctor was just as rude a couple years earlier when my dad was rushed there from his Alzheimers care facility. He may know his craft but he doesn't know the first thing about how to treat people with compassion.

Came in with Giardia, with other than normal symptoms and Dr. Waterman did a full battery of tests and called me right away when he got the results. Called in the prescription right away. Thanks again.

Came in complaining of problems due to MS. He diagnosed heart burn and very rudely told me to leave. This man should be in research, NOT working with real live sick people.

Saw this man at Curry General ER on 12/31/16. A cat scan was done here 9/9/16. The scan revealed lesions on my brain. Finally followed up w/GP 3 weeks ago, I was told authorization would take 7-10 days. Now I'm told the middle of January. However, I have major signs MS. Seeing this man at the ER was hell. He didn't listen to a word I said. Did not react to my symptoms and said I had "NO" CAT Scan. I was in terrible pain w/open lesions. His diagnosis: Heartburn. Very rude appalling hubris -more

He spent the time necessary to solve my problem when others did not.
