It took months to get a referral I had to keep calling and asking them to put the referral through or it would have never gotten done. They always had an excuse when I called asking why the referral hasn't been done yet...they didn't get my last message, they needed to coordinate with my other providers and the latest was that they have been too busy to look up the address of the doctor they are referring me to. I finally did the leg work myself and found the specialist and contacted them. I got all the information and provided it to Dr. Hopson's office so it would be quick and easy for them to refer me. The specialist's office apologized to me saying this is not normal for the patient to be needing to do this part. I finally was able to get the referral after about a year and went to see the specialist. He said it was a good thing I didn't wait any longer. My growth had gotten so big that it was pressing up against my vocal cords. I could have lost my voice permanently. I told Dr. Hopson I kept loosing my voice and had trouble swallowing. I knew something was very wrong. I am glad I was so very persistent and finally got to the specialist who was able to treat me.

I really appreciate Dr. Hopson. She's probably the best doctor I've had in almost 30 years at the Corvallis Clinic. She is thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I appreciate that she takes time to get to know her patients and she looks at your whole health picture and doesn't miss anything. I hope she stays in Corvallis for the long term.

HAD MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH HER LAST WEEK AFTER 3 YRS OF NO DR. AND I AM VERY ANTI-DOC...I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE HER ON MY TEAM SO I CAN KICK THIS T2D IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. SHE TAKES THE TIME TO TALK AND SHE LISTENS...THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!!!

I would not recommend this endocrinologist for anyone. She took approximately 5 minutes with me as a new patient, did not ask any questions about me, my past or my medical condition. Did minimal assessment, didn’t read or ask anything about my paperwork. She redirected me to another doctor for VERY basic prescription. Very disappointed.

I saw Dr. Hopson as a result of an NP drastically reducing my medication; I knew the reduction had to be incorrect as I felt the ill side effects. Upon meeting with Dr. Hopson, she confirmed that the reduction had been too drastic and immediately took action to correct the dosage issue. Dr. Hopson was extremely personable and easy to talk with. She was knowledgeable and answered my many questions. I appreciate that she was down-to-earth and action-oriented. Highly recommend!
