You will be left to die if you see him. He will laugh, refuse to take you seriously and you will end up in the er several times. Misogyny at its finest.

Dr. Stephen Hallas is an excellent, thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate physician.He's well-informed about the latest published research/ peer-reviewed studies on various medical subjects. Ideally, that should be the standard in the medical health care field.Dr. Hallas' commitment to continuously acquire new skills & knowledge in his field while keeping up with the latest medical technology advancements allows him to make accurate decisions in regards to his patients' treatment options. Additionally, individual patient- based approach is also what makes him a physician I can entrust my healthcare to.I've had specialists, who were either great surgeons, but were too busy to address my questions &/or concerns, and conversely, specialists, who were empathetic and articulate, but weren't the best at diagnosing and treating health problems.I believe that with Dr. Hallas, you're getting a combination of a physician who cares enough to listen to & address his patients' concerns and questions while simultaneously providing the best care/treatment options that are currently available.

I'm so happy to have found Dr. Hallas! Excellent doctor, great personality. Listens. Knowledgeable. Trustworthy. Thorough. Greatly appreciate how easy he is to talk to as well as his emphasis on nutritious eating and exercise. I also loved how he interacted with my children, giving them hi fives and being fun. The nurse, Jennifer was also fantastic.

As a resident doctor he tries very hard to be kind, and is very sweet in his approach to a senior citizen. Where I hope he will improve is protecting and putting his patients first, even against the bullying of colleagues. When I recently came to him for help, in obvious and severe emotional distress, he made the decision to consult a colleague, allowing him to verbally rip me to shreds while sitting there mute. While not understanding the insult at the time, I stammered and stood in shock, trying to joke my discomfort away. Dr Hallis doesn't know me well, but he should have had enough insight to understand I was emotionally unstable in that moment and come to my defense, at the least chiding his colleague for such a sheer absence of tact or compassion. As a result I have been slandered, humiliated, devastated and brought to a new emotional low that I fear I may never truly recover from. So complete is my humiliation that I cannot now face the thought of returning to his office again.
