As long as you make you appointment in advance (Plan 1.5 months out), this is a solid dental practice.

Seems to only be a good dental office for cleanings and whatever they perceive as emergencies. The providers are kind (and when they're not I wouldn't be surprised if it's because they are overworked). This review is more on the way WD runs its business. It's atrocious. I called about a fractured tooth the first week in September and it took over two weeks to get in and three follow up appointments about a week or two apart before they would refer me on to get it pulled. The oral surgeon took another month+ to get me on their calendar simply to confirm what we all know, I broke my tooth and it needs to come out. All the while this tooth is getting infected so I've been dealing with that. Now I am finally getting it pulled but it's a front tooth so I asked about getting a temporary flipper, well the surgeon doesn't make those so they told me to have WD make it before the appointment. Well, I called WD and I guess this is not enough of an emergency to get me in before January. They have known since September that this tooth was beyond repair and known for certain since mid October that I would have this tooth removed. Unimpressed doesn't quite cover how I feel about this situation. If you need to get a cleaning, great, otherwise go somewhere else, you will not get the timely care you need here. *Note, I do not think this is entirely the local office's fault I think it's the way WD runs its program. Their business model seems like an effort to make care affordable and accessible and that's great but it shouldn't take 4 appointments in 4 months to address one issue, it does not adequately prioritize patient care. I know dental offices like this put restrictions on how much time dentists are allowed to spend with a patient. I get it, that's probably how they best maximize their Dentist's time and it's unethical to ask patients to come back several times to deal with one issue. Some issues just take more than 20 minutes. Why did I need to come in 4 times for them to look at it and do nothing but talk about it and give me mouth wash? This has the potential to be an incredible business model that can serve a large number of people but not the way they are doing it. It feels like a copay money grab.

This office has some really stupid staff. The dental assistant had no idea how to work the chair, this was the case the previous time I was there. I am a larger person, and if your staff doesnt know how to work something as basic as a dental chair, than I am done with you and your staff. Send that assistant home and tell her to get an education before coming back and pretending to be a professional. Further your dentist wasn't that great. I told him in the middle of the extraction I had pain, and he just kept going. Further his hands were shaking the whole time. I don't recommend this location or even Willamette Dental. It should be really super simple to find a better dentist when the bar is that low. Good bye.

For those with OHP/IHN insurance this place is probably your best option in Corvallis. Friendly staff, got in to be seen the next day (either due to a cancellation or due to my urgent pain/need to be seen, not sure but it worked out for me). I dreaded going in but was pleasantly surprised. My favorite dentist no longer works there (Dr. Naga) but my new dentist was very nice as were the other people on my care team. No complaints. They were patient and answered my questions, didn't push fluoride on me (they even had it in my chart that I don't like fluoride) and they didn't try to sell me any products or prescribe me any drugs and told me to continue with my homemade mouthwash (using clove and tea tree oil, baking soda and xylitol) and they made me feel at home. Pleasantly surprised.
