Not impressed. She can be very condescending. She is a better doctor for men. I don't think she likes women. I was a new patient and asked if she wanted my records, she said no. She did not ask me any health questions, she did not ask what medicine I take (none luckily), she did not want to know if I take supplements, she never even touched me. I have never visited a doctor who did not want to know my medical history. She did not welcome questions. I like to be informed, ask questions, and have a conversation with my doctors about my health. She would rather dictate what she thinks without your input. She wears pretty dresses though, that is all I can say good about her.
Dr. Galinato is not only horribly uninformed (she tried to tell me that ovarian cysts don’t cause pain...which numerous doctors, previous experience with multiple cysts, including one that hemorrhaged, has shown the exact opposite of). When calling to get set up with a primary care physician I was on the phone for nearly an hour giving my case history, as it is unfortunately complicated, and scheduling a physical and well women’s check up, explaining the presentation of my endometriosis and the symptoms of PCOS that I needed to get tested for. While the worker was incredibly nice, helpful, compassionate and overtly trying to do a good job by getting these notes in; Galinato obviously didn’t bother to read my chart, on top of being late, only spending a few minutes to talk to me, and not touching me or even giving anything resembling an exam. Instead she just invalidated me and gave judgmental responses. She shows no real compassion, care or empathy for her patients. Much less knowledge
I am glad Dr. Galinato is my primary care physician. She takes the time to listen to what is going on. She works to make sure the issues are being addressed.
She is not interested in symptoms. She does not take good notes to refer to the next time. When something she recommends/prescribes doesn't work (which can happen to the best of doctors) she gets decidedly defensive and accusatory. I am now paying out of pocket for a doctor who is interested in symptoms and willing to learn new things. It's pricey but I am getting better. Finally, she will make you change to a prescription she prefers even if you are doing well on what you are on.

Have seen twice--the first one for a complete physical--never even listened to my heart. 2nd visit--STILL no auscultation, even when I told her my chest felt tight. It's as if she does NOT want any physical contact.
Dr. Galinato was very pleasant and prescribed the proper Rx for my condition.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
