Very disappointing experience - first you schedule an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time and then a few days prior the doctor’s office moved it to another day without explanation. Which in my case defeats the purpose of making the appointment.

Dr. Van Scoy, has become our family doctor. He is very knowledgeable and will find you a specialist if you need one. Uses tests effectively.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Van Scoy. He's knowledgeable, personable, interested, and responsive. He speaks to everyone in my family at their level, from child to over-researching adult. He responds quickly through the my.peacehealth.org website, which I appreciate, since I really don't enjoy phone calls. If he doesn't know something, he admits that and does some research. And he is humble. I think he's great.

Dr Van Scoy refused to listen when I told him I was experiencing asthma, nor did he even perform a physical review / administer tests. I was admitted to the ER for 10 hours two weeks later with a severe asthma attack.

Dr. David Van Scoy has been the best doctor I have had as an adult. He talks to me at my level of understanding. Conservative approaches but knows recent studies. Interacts with my other medical professionals to work as a team. I am blessed to have him in my corner.

THE BEST doctor ever! Pleasant, caring, considerate, down-to-earth, level-headed, interested in his patients, stays up-to-date & informed on health-related misc, and so importantly, he’s “present” for your appt (instead of like many MDs who are already out the door, mentally, before stepping in to see you). Dr. Van Scoy is just an all around good person & a good MD, too! He’s been my MD for 10 yrs - - record for me who got disgusted & fed up within 1.5 yrs by the former docs I’ve had in 30+ yrs. I honestly had given up MDs until I was referred to him! And that’s 10 yrs of satisfaction!
