Go an infection. Came in with severe pain, seen by an unqualified person who said it was my fault and sent me home. By the time infection was diagnosed it was serious, required hospitalization, intravenous antibiotics, left permanent damage.

It's unusual to get a diagnosis in this day and age without tests, so a clear Dx in just a few minutes was a pleasant surprise. I wanted to know whether I should change behaviors based on the state of my hand, and I learned it makes no difference. So I'm happy because I can continue to do things I love.

The doctor and staff were fine but we did not understand why we were forced to wait downstairs to check in ..in a crowded lobby, and then when we got upstairs there’s a huge lobby, no one sitting in there. I understand Slocum has a check in downstairs policy but right now during Covid having somebody standing at the door to ask questions and then shoving everybody into a crowded lobby when there’s plenty of room in your building to spread that out and probably a logical way to continue to check people in without having to have all of us crammed downstairs. We waited over 20 minutes for our name to be called that seemed a bit much to. I suggest you rethink this backwards idea.

Dr Godfrey did everything she could to help me get carpal tunnel surgery while pregnant. She appealed my insurance denial for me, but it didn't work out. In an effort to minimize the pain of carpal tunnel, she has given me the cortisone shot, which worked wonders, for a while. I wish that my insurance was not trying to save money and cutting the surgery services for women who are pregnant, and other people who have been determined to be high risk or something like that... But this Dr is amazing and I recommend her services to everyone!! She really cares and she listens and she is creative, proactive, and genuinely a well educated provider!

My experience at my doctor's appointment was very professional. The doctor met all my needs. Show tolls show a lot of compassion. And gave me knowledgeable advice on extended care for my experience that I was there for

Jenna is thorough in describing procedures and what they entail. Promptly arrives so i feel bad if I'M late. Have not had Xiaflex injection yet. Hoping it goes well. Had steroid injections though and they helped. (Carpal Tunnel and Dupytryns) right hand/arm. CHECK-IN and entire downstairs too backed up and crowded for these Covid times. Slocum workers are subjecting themselves to too much exposure. IMO. Slocum work on checking people in in different locations. 3 waiting rooms upstairs EMPTY. 9:30 AM
