Kristian Ferry's Online Review Report Card

I called Dr. Ferry at Avante Surgical when his name came up on my Health Insurance website as a surgical specialist for the procedure I needed. Actually, that's not true. I first called the "major", "hospital associated" surgical group and was ignored for a week-- then found Dr. Ferry and his independent practice. I had a consultation scheduled within two weeks, and my surgery performed three weeks after that (at an independent surgery center). The price was the same as far as my insurance was concerned, and I really felt like I got "special" treatment (prompt, professional, friendly) as opposed to what I've experienced when getting care at a hospital. Furthermore, and perhaps most important, Dr. Ferry is simply a very talented and experienced surgeon. The healing process was explained very well, so I knew what to expect, and my scar is quite a bit smaller than what I expected. Best of all, I really do feel "fixed"-- Dr. Ferry did (what I consider to be) an outstanding job for me. I could not be more satisfied with this experience and would recommend Dr. Ferry to anyone needing a surgeon with his specialties.

Dr. Ferry explained my situation and also gave me the options available to me, I didn't leave confused and/or worried. The operation went very well and I felt well cared for. The follow up visits have been great! I would highly recommend him to family and friends!

Dr. Ferry was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. I would recommend him to anyone considering any type of general surgery or oncology surgery. I drove all the way from Salem to consult with him and found him to be a cut above the rest. He also has some great resources and materials on healthy living to prevent surgery, if possible. I would gladly drive again from Salem to consult with him again, if needed.

I had a fabulous experience just 2 days ago while under Dr Ferry' s care. He and his staff treated me with much kindness, and Dr Ferry was very efficient and obviously, very skilled in his surgical skills as he performed surgery on my leg. I am very satisfied with my experience with Dr Ferry and his team, and recommend him highly.

Dr. Ferry was so kind and caring. I felt completely at ease after my consultation. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He did an absolutely wonderful job on my surgery and walked me though the recovery process. If I ever need another surgery, I will choose him.. I would actually have him as my doctor for everything, if that was an option.

My son has been under the care of Dr Ferry for 2 years. My son is 50 now and enjoying life finally! Before meeting Dr Ferry, After numerous doctors and treatments my son felt he the brick Wall at the end of the road. We we’re discouraged with the medical treatment given in the past via other doctors and clinics. My son wanted his life back, Dr Ferry has been the only doctor to help in a 2 decade search for the help my son needed. Today, my son is active, healthy, no longer over weight - the weight loss in its self changed my son’s perspective of life and encouraged him to continue and get to a point of living not just existing. My son looks and says he feels amazing & that puts a smile on this mom’s face?

The entire office was kind and patient at the first appointment, but their bedside manner changed entirely since the surgery day. Started from the surgery day, they treated my partner horribly, the assistants were rude on the phone and not caring at all. Dr. Ferry hangs up the phone on my partner. In other words, they don't care about you as a patient once they got your money.

He was nice and patient at the prep visit but acted entirely different after the surgery. For the follow-up visit, he and his assistant were very rude and impatient. I’m so regretted that I had him instead of seeking more surgeons.

Explains thorouat a patients level without demeaning or patronizing. Gives worst and best case scenario. Considers disfiguring scars and works to minimize during surgery. Is considerate and honest. A rare find on the medical field. Works to the best of his ability. In our opinion excellent doctor, and human being.

My experience was excellent. Dr. Ferry treated me with respect and as an adult. He answered all my question with sufficient detail in a direct manner which is what I need in a Doctor. He removed a cancerous tumor from my breast
