The staff at Dentistry for Children was always so kind to my boys. We started going when we moved into town and were so pleased with the care given! When my younger son had his first appointment they really accommodated to his comfort. He never even thought to be nervous because they made everything so easy. When we told them we were moving out of state they explained what credentials to look for in another pediatric dentist. It just went to show the care of their patients is top priority.

Our experience with Dentistry for Children has been phenomenal. I was very impressed with the quality of the cleaning they gave both our kids. Also, our youngest was very nervous about visiting their office for the first time and kept saying he was afraid to go the dentist. After they warmly greeted us and made us feel comfortable he was right at home and allowed them to give him a thorough cleaning without issue. He was even more excited when he got to pick a prize afterward! Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this office.

Highly recommend Dr. Matt! Not only is he professional and thorough with parents, but also attentive and relatable for kids. Due to Covid we delayed dental appointments and my 5yo now needed a couple fillings and one extraction. Dr. Matt and his team transformed what would normal be scary experience of having a tooth pulled into a fun time for my son, explaining what was happening in kiddo-friendly terms and made it an adventure. We went back for the second Appt to take care of a cavity and he hugged Dr. Matt, just amazing!!

Let me start by saying my children have been clients of Dentistry For Children for over 20 years. I honestly wish I would have reviewed this company years ago when a 5 star review was not high enough. Unfortunately it seems a legacy has slipped through our fingers silently. Throughout the years our family has had many insurances and self-pay situations that were handled with grace & with the client in mind. No longer is that true. I have been affronted with difficulties with guarantor accounting, billing, discounted rates for self pay that were never a problem before. I assume that when the new management came in, the old legitimate ways of doing business went out. How is it that a child who reaches a legal age of being their own guarantor "cannot legally be their own guarantor because when the insurance changed the guarantor was X?" I have worked in healthcare for over a decade and I know that is completely not true, and a violation of the rules and regulations. Being told that procedures that are not covered under insurance cannot be discounted by law is a shady way of bypassing a courtesy that makes sure a client pays full price even though the insurance never will. Be sure to check your bill & know what you are buying into before you go, the treatment may be of high quality (this has also decreased since some providers have left) but the billing department could use a change. I am just happy that my children are grown now & are seen by other providers in the area.

Dr Matt Is amazing and so is the entire team. My son has some complex dental needs and he always goes above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and have trust with the Dentist. I never feel like a number or just another patient when I take my kids here. Dr Matt really cares about his patients and makes himself available, even on short notice, to make sure the kids are well taken care of.

I called Dr. Andersons office as a new patient(my little guy) and mentioned he had started complaining of a toothache. I was asked to text a pic of my son's tooth to Doctor and within 10 minutes received a call back offering an appointment at 7:45 the next morning. My son has never had anything but a dental cleaning andi was worried how it would go for him. Dr. Anderson and his wonderful assistant literally explained everything to my boy in language he could understand and let me say it was the best experience! Unfortunately his little tooth was beyond repair and required an extraction but Dr. made this such a positive experience that when we left my little asked when he'd get to go back again! Dr. Anderson and his staff took so much time to make this a comfortable experience! I don't often leave reviews but to anyone looking for an amazing pediatric dental office, I highly recommend D. Matt Anderson! 10 STARS!!!!!!!

My kids love Dr. Matt. The staff is fantastic! I have three kids and they all like getting their teeth taken care of, because of them!

Just an amazing practice. We have been taking our kids here since they were little, just to get them used to going to the dentist. The hygienists are very patient with my sometimes squirmy kids. My daughter was 1 year old when we started, and they were so good with her. Dr. Matt is fantastic. He explains things thoroughly to parents, and in child-appropriate language to the kids. I love that he involves them in what he is doing and doesn't just speak to the parents. You can tell how comfortable he is with kids, and that helps relax my children as well. The front desk staff (Erica) is fantastic too. I've had to cancel due to illness, and they are so accommodating and never make me feel bad for needing an early time slot. My son went to a pediatric dentist up in Portland when we lived there and no where as good as this office.

Highly recommended. They are well-organized and punctual with every aspect of appointments. Have taken all four kids at once with no problem. The dental assistants are awesome. Dr. Matt is a consummate professional and offers informed advice. He respects the kids' intelligence, answers their questions and talks to them on the level about what is happening with their teeth. My kids trust him implicitly and they are completely comfortable going to the dentist. The office is clean, spacious, sunny and cheerful, with many curious details for the kids to adventure on.
