Mckenzie Surgery Center's Online Review Report Card

Everyone at this facility was wonderful. If I could give them 100 stars I would. They absolutely deserve it.

I had a twenty minute operation on my foot. I was comfortable, relaxed and confident in their care from the first minute. Nicole did the intake interview and started my IV. She was so professional, patient with me and assailed my initial nervousness. The recovery was a piece of cake. I recommend Mckenzie Surgery Center for any short procedure.

I have had a handful of surgeries in a few different places, and not one of them can even compare with the level of care and compassion the ENTIRE STAFF at McKenzie Surgery Center had for me while I was a patient. Every single person I had contact with during my short stay was exceptionally kind, understanding and attentive to my needs beyond expectation.

Everyone here was just amazing from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctors! Absolutely wonderful! They are so charismatic and personable and incredibly compassionate! I did not feel like “just another patient”, I felt cared for! They are all awesome! Thank you so much!!

From the time I was greeted at the front door to when the nurse helped me to my car, every person treated me with great kindness and respect. I especially appreciated the OR nurse who offered me his arm for the walk to the operating room after taking my glasses. I’m quite blind without them. My anesthesiologist was very calm and reassuring, good traits for his profession. The thank you card that arrived a few days later was a nice touch. A positive experience thanks to the kind staff.

My niece is 2. She was scheduled for surgery. They canceled because she chewed gum. She didn't eat it she chewed it. My sister has 7 kids. I live an hour away and drove up to babysit. They scheduled her surgery for 10:30. She's not allowed food or drink after midnight. She o my chewed gum. She didn't swallow it. Y'all are ridiculous!

I have had two surgeries this year at McKenzie Surgery Center. Their process was very easy to preregister. My phone calls and questions were answered promptly. The staff, from the minute I walked in until I left, was amazing! Everyone was kind, helpful, had a sense of humor and very skilled. They helped take away my nervousness, checked in with me to see if I needed anything and eased my fears the entire time. I wish I could remember their names to acknowledge each one of them. MSC you have an amazing group of people working for you. Please give them KUDOs!!

I had an inguinal hernia repair done here and it was my first surgical experience. Staff were very informative and friendly. The tactful interaction lessened my anxiety and everything went very well.

I had a minor surgery in April and was very happy with how kind and caring all of the nursing staff and front office staff were from start to finish. Facility was very clean. A nurse followed up on Monday to see how I was doing, which was much appreciated. My only complaint is regarding my anesthesiologist. He was supposed to call me the day before surgery to go over details, which he did not call. I called the center and was told he would call me back, but never did. I met him 15 minutes before my procedure and he was extremely rude and condescending. Thankfully, I was put under anesthesia soon after that and didn’t have to deal with him again! If I were to have another surgery there. I would absolutely request another anesthesiologist. Otherwise, I am very happy with my overall experience.

Nice people, very organized and efficient, and they all seemed to know their business well. They were friendly, cheerful, kept me informed throughoht, and made me feel comfortable despite my rear end hanging out the back of my paper nightie - which was heated, of course. They had me in and out in just a few hours for a relatively minor surgery under general anesthetic. Even had some munchies for me afterward. Really a nice experience (as far as one can call surgery "nice"), and if I had to do it again, I'd probably choose to do it at McKenzie Surgery Center.
