List of Oregon Allergy Associates's Reviews
The staff at the front desk was nice, yet the appointment with Dr. Chou was very "interesting." I have been waiting 20 min to see her, which was a waste of my time. Also, before I came to the clinic, I have already filled in my information and medical history - I wrote down I was allergic to Amoxicillin. Then Dr. Chou, who was very cold, asked me, why do you come here? Isn't it the doctor's responsibility to learn more about the patient? What happened next was more "interesting." She then told me I needed to do an allergy test, but found out just at that moment they did not have any material to do the test. In conclusion, I wasted my time waiting and meeting the cold doctor who did not even spend one min to look at my medical history and did not even know they did not have the material to do a test. They said they could call me when the material arrives. No, thanks.
I was referred to Dr Jacobs but he was not able to see me. Instead, I was seen by Melany WayneNP. I have to say that my medical allergies left me scared of taking any meds. Perhaps a little weary of trusting doctors (even though it was not their fault that my body reacted so bad to a medication) Melany sat down and allowed me to tell her my experience. She actively listened and learned that I have been through different doctors without getting the answers I needed to feel in control of my health. Immediately she sent me to get lab work done. It turned out my inmune system had a mind of its own. Now, I know part of my big problems and what needs to be done and followed up with the referral. In addition to this, I have to say the staff is really helpful (and busy). They have lots of compassion and are very professional. It is hard to connect with them thru the phone but they do respond easy through their app system. This way, I could see my blood and test results and was able to share this many times with other doctors. I waited 2 months to have the initial appointment, but it was worth it.
Dr Jacobson and Tracy provided the best medical experience ever. They were thorough and attentive in every respect! The e checkin was easy and communication was great!
Dr. Chou was attentive, clear, and personable. She talked WITH me not AT me — like some doctors do. Her assistant (Tara? 😍) was so calming and encouraging, which I needed!
I love my doctor and have enjoyed going to this clinic for years. I give it 4 1/2 starts.
Dr chou has not responded to three calls regarding a life threatening allergy situation. Patient has been seen by her even recently, but questions arose and three phone calls were not returned, even by a staff member.
I have been going to Oregon Allergy Associates for many years. Dr. Jacobson is an excellent doctor. He listens and then always has a suggestion for helping me with my allergies. And, his staff is very good.
Great place for allergy shots.
Tried going twice. Years and 100 pounds apart. Same response. Must being something I’m doing. Overweight. Soaps I’m using. Didn’t seem to be interested that it was especially bad in the spring with the tree pollen. If you’re an athlete, maybe they’ll listen.
I highly recommend Oregon Allergy Associates! Staff have been professional, friendly, and efficient. They've made sure to be extremely thorough and attentive to my care needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
