Been going to this place for 20 years and it's great!!

I entered the office and waiting room and saw the doctor in his office without a mask a few feet away from other staff, which made me uncomfortable about their COVID protocols. I wasn't asked any COVID health screening questions and ventilation seemed poor. As I was trying to explain my symptoms and related chronic health issues, he didn't listen attentively or take any chart notes, barely read the paperwork I spent 20 minutes filling out and started a foot exam while I was sharing my issues, interrupting me and asking my to press here, do this, which completely threw me off. The doctor was condescending, asking me if I knew math, explaining complex foot anatomy at a very fast speed, drawing on my foot without consent, and quizzing me on what he said. He told me to go home heat my feet and watch the bachelor. I think this was an attempt at being funny or engaging? But I was not amused. He watched me walk and got some helpful feedback with that. I left completely overwhelmed with foot anatomy information that could be helpful to understand my issue, but I couldn't remember because the volume of terms and speed he spoke at. I was flabbergasted by the lack of care I received, being told to just "keep doing what you're doing" at the end of the appointment seeming to suggest that everything was fine. Meanwhile I am still reeling in pain while walking and have no answers or solutions to allievate my pain or figure out the cause. I've been severly limited with mobility trying to avoid putting any weight on my foot.

Dr. McKinney did spend a lot of time explaining to me why the injury was not getting better and what to expect with the treatment routine.

Dr. Mckinney is a funny guy, I enjoyed working with him. He performed minor foot surgery for me and had me watch a video about cats to calm my nerves. My cut has healed up nicely with no issues or infections.

Just over a year ago I sprained my ankle. My primary care doctor sent me to physical therapy. It got better, but I was still having pain, and most painful was there burning sensation to my foot. Dr. McKinney went through all of my x-rays and CT scan and physical therapy reports. He then spent a lot of time evaluating me and talking to me about what I was feeling in my ankle. It appears that I had chronic regional pain syndrome. after he pointed it out to me you could actually see the difference in the skin between my two feet. He sent me to a pain management doctor, and now, most everything is back to normal. Very pleased with his thoroughness and time spent listening to my concerns.

The positive is you can pick your day and time to get in. He doesn't seem to have many patients. He's a crotchety ol' guy. Personally I don't care about what concerts he's attended Would rather see pictures of feet anatomy on his walls. He doesn't listen to his patients, nor does he talk to them. He talks down to them. His receptionist is nice. He has no assistant.

Dr. McKinney knows his stuff. I would consider myself to be a difficult podiatric patient - I have a congenital foot deformity from which I get little relief, yet I insist upon living an active lifestyle. Unlike other podiatrists I've been to, he did not attempt to give me any false hope about getting 100% relief from my condition, which was refreshing. He has gone above and beyond when treating the effects from it, though. He has not hesitated to make custom orthotics and lifts, topical pain relievers, suggestions about best practices with injuries, and has worked tirelessly with my insurance provider. He has helped me put together a team of professionals who care about me, including referring me to pain management specialists, physical therapists, and surgeons. Whenever I express concerns about my latest injury, he can often manage to fit me into his schedule in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. McKinney to anyone with recurring foot injuries, especially if you prefer a doctor who can give you straight-up answers and top-notch treatment.

He was so rude and acted like he didn’t care about anything I said. He didn’t take his time at all, was in a rush the whole time. I Asked him if the prescription was safe to take while pregnant that he prescribed me and he said yes, when I got to the pharmacy they told me it could be harmful to the baby!!! What kind of doctor is this?? Not to mention the DRY BLOOD that’s on their stuff they use for patients, absolutely disgusting. I have a upcoming appointment I am NOT going back

He was rude, and condescending in nature. He was more interested in listening to himself and not what I was telling him. He never did address the area of pain in my foot. His office was not desirable and walked into my appointment with sweat type pants on covered in cat hair.... I could of put that aside if he would of been a good Dr. but put it all together and I would never go to him again nor recommend him.
