Dr Choi has been my neurologist for many years now and he has helped me through a lot of different issues, he always listens to my concerns and reminds me to be diligent about my health.

Was sent to him for EMG and nerve conduction studies. An assistant did the tests. She didn’t introduce herself. His portion of the visit took 5 minutes with no explanation. Testing is painful. MD visit useless with zero information or explanation. Wouldn’t see him again if he was the last neurologist available.

Competent, cogent consults. He is efficient and provided direct clear information for understanding diagnosis and options. I operate an adult foster home with annual visits for one of my guys for at least twelve years.

Dr Choi is known for being very thorough and he was with me. For each problem he listened, asked questions, ordered appropriate tests, shared the results, and provided appropriate treatment which sometimes included medication, and sometimes other treatments. He speaks with an accent but is easily understandable and you could always ask for him to repeat. He's always responded rapidly and appropriately when we've had a troubling occurrence. Very happy to be in his care.

I got the impression he enjoyed seeing the pain I was enduring. I saw him for 4 months and he never treated or diagnosed me. I saw another Neurologist and was treated and diagnosed within the first two appointments. He always seemed so angry and uptight!

I saw him about 6 times and not once did he even look at me! He stared at the computer....He could not diagnose me, even though it was not a difficult case. Refused to give me any seizure medication. He was rude and condescending and it is obvious he does not like his job. Luckily, I saw another Neurologist who diagnosed me and treated me in the first appointment.

Couldn't understand him when he spoke...quick to prescribe meds without regard to side effects .No real diagnosis just more meds. I did not make a follow up appt .
