List of Asante Family Medicine Grants Pass's Reviews
They don't care. You're better off with Dr. Google.
Two things: On two occasions (one was a follow up) I was told I have an $80 co pay this year, which was questioned so the woman at the desk said she’d recheck, when we came out we were told it was $50 but everything would come out “in the wash” in billing. My insurance let me know they can’t see what an office charges for an copay and overpay doesn’t go toward any of the bill. Ins stated my copay is only $35 for PC. Last year, my great doctor left after a couple years here. On my follow up for an injury, a young NP came in introduced as my new provider. Now we learn the NP doesn’t even take my insurance. The bills are mine. My ins company said this is very inconsiderate. As I look at the bills, I have to agree. Ins pays $0. $0 to deductible.
I am sharing from a family member’s perspective. There is so much Provider turnover at this clinic, that I encourage you to stay away. Some of these Providers can’t even stick around for 6 months! I believe this results in poor care.
Just want to say THANKS everyone - all of Asante Partners, Admin, Family physicians people and support for all wonderful care. Great everything!
Dr Hallows and the medical team have provided my husband and I thorough and comprehensive care. He’s always going to take the time to listen and to provide us with the best medical advice and treatment. We’re very satisfied with Asante Family Medicine of Grants Pass.

I have been going to Asante clinic for 17 years and have had wonderful doctors and good care for a variety of health problems. In addition, the phone and check in clerks have always been polite, and helpful, if I need help making appointments or information. Donna Finley, Grants Pass, Oregon
The most CORRUPT office and medical provider in this town. Rude receptionist, rude doctors with rude bedside manners. One sided opinions. Make appointments for you and then don’t let you know. Definitely worth the drive to Medford if you don’t have to see this practice!!!!!
Love the doctors here. They all are very caring. The staffing here is top notch. They are so friendly and make you feel at ease!
I called attempting to make an appointment. I scheduled an appointment, the soonest they could get me in was a month out. 2 days before my appointment, they called me saying they needed to reschedule because I was double booked. They did this to me 3 different times. Each time scheduling me out yet another month and a half. I had severe symptoms that were causing me to miss work, not sleep, not eat, and further that I won’t go into as it is graphic. But I was not heard or taken seriously. I ended up going to urgent care out of frustration to get a referral to a gastroenterologist or a therapist thinking my issues were food or anxiety related. (I have never struggled with either of these issues). Turns out, I had an extremely rare tumor in my liver and I almost died. I have taken two separate ambulance rides, and was emergency transferred up to Riverbend Hospital from Three Rivers. I have been in 3 different hospitals, each stay lasting a minimum of 5 days. This was over a span of several weeks from 9/9-11/23. I have had 5 major surgeries, the most recent one being a Whipple surgery at 23 years old. I’m still out of work as of right now. The lack of attention and willingness to take my symptoms seriously almost cost me my life. I was told by several gastroenterologists that it never should have gotten to this point. If the other reviews weren’t enough to dissuade you, I hope this one is.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
