My mom liked Dr. Hancock because he cussed and kept her well supplied with pain killers. Sadly, she passed away after a 6 month decline under his care. According to the medical bills she left behind after she died, she saw him twice in those 6 months. The medical records supplied to the hospital she died in failed to note several aspects of her declining physical and mental well-being. According to her, he didn’t notice. Dr. Hancock never referred her for a gynecological exam in the 25+ years she saw him. She was on blood thinners (plus 3 other prescriptions to alleviate the side effects of the blood thinner) for well over a decade, which is not good.

Dr. Hancock is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He shows genuine concern for his patients. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been seeing doctor Hancock for a number of years and have complete confidence in him.

Dr. Hancock has been the primary care physician for my entire family for the past 25 years. There is no doctor in Southern Oregon like him; knowledgeable, patient, kind, trustworthy, and most important, he doesn't jump to conclusions with symptoms. Dr. Hancock will literally use the priceless thing called "time" to figure out what is happening with our bodies.

I had a stroke in 2017 and needed to get a referral for a heart specialist, I made an appointment and when I checked in I was turned away and they would not see me due to an outstanding bill of $77. My family and I have been with him as a family doctor for over 20 years and this is how I get treated.

After living and working in several states having different doctors all along the way I believe Dr. Hancock is the best doctor we have ever had. He takes all the time necessary with you will he listens to your concerns and offers many options for how to care for and fix your health issues. He is direct and sincerely helps you with a special kindness. He is simply awesome.
