Colorectal health issues are already uncomfortable enough. Dr. Nelson immediately makes you feel at ease. He’s the most caring and compassionate surgeon/doctor that I’ve ever seen. He listens to all of your concerns and health issues and then helps get to the bottom of them. I honestly could not have a higher respect or recommendation for a doctor, as well as his entire staff. They are AMAZING!

Very caring personable and available. Has treated my grandmother and myself (unfortunately) however he has made the process easier for the state of mind and professionalism. A+ in our families book!

I had a gastrointestinal attack on 6/18. I had company coming on 6/19 from Ca. As soon as they left I contacted Dr. Nelson's office and they immediately took me for an exam. Although I was not happy that I would require a colonoscopy, I scheduled for 6/27. I found the prep distasteful but when I arrived at the beautiful outpatient center, I was treated like royalty. From the moment I put on my gown, the professionalism of the team was unparalleled (and I am a paranoid person. I study everything you can think of on the web.) Dr. Nelson came in and introduced himself and talked about my condition for a few minutes. Shortly after that, they wheeled me in to the room. Within 5 minutes I was out while they continued to monitor all my vitals. I woke up 20 min.later back in my room. Dr. Nelson came in and told me that he found 1 polyp which he removed and my test was normal. They offered me a juice or coffee. The cranberry juice tasted like gold! (No solid food for 2 days). Don't put off health treatments. The peace of mind is worth it and ask for Dr. Nelson. Corinne (I'm almost 80).
