Rodney D. Leavitt's Online Review Report Card

...i used to go to Dr. Rodney Leavitt’s father for decades even suggesting to his Dad that he take his son into business with him...my first visit went ok but I did sense a ‘bully’ as someone mentioned...he’s , basically , afraid to listen or unable to listen...while I started to share a conversation I had with his father , Rodeny blurted out ‘my father didn’t say that … that didn’t happen … you came to fight’...he said that stuff in rude and condescending manner...3 days later I got a certified letter kicking me out of an office I had gone to for 20 years signed by all the doctors none of whom knew me...it was a traumatic experience for me and Leavitt’s lucky I didn’t sue him and that office which is a very dark , conservative office , uncaring out to help very old people and they love to push glasses on you to make money...Leavitt had the audacity to send me an ad for the office after kicking me out with out any hearing...i wasn’t vulgar and I have a gracious, pleasant attitude...i think Rodney was a bully or bulled as a child...who wouldn’t with a name Rodney...he’s a huge , over bearing , brat who looks like he’s in the wrong profession...i’m sure he’s probably technically ok but his personality is overbearing and uncaring...my name is John Smith and he , nor any doctor in that office has the compassion and caring nature enough to listen...lousy office and lousy Leavitt...i’d welcome the opportunity to sit with those yo yos signing the certified letter that kicked me out...they care very poorly….

Dr.. Leavitt gets BEST EVER!!!!! i had cataract surgery and he was so perfect in all aspects of the process. Why did i wait so long? His team is also so professional.

Very professional and great at explaining information and answering patient's questions.

Dr. Leavitt is a bully with poor manners

he did two eye surgeries with outstanding results. He gave me plenty of time to discuss the procedures and his staff were terrific. I would refer him to my family and friends

I have an uncommon eye situation that takes special care. Dr Leavitt has the expert ability to handle it. He is a very caring doctor.

Dr. Leavitt is a very nice and polite man I noticed right away. His calmness while doing thorough exams of my eyes keeps me calm. I have never felt like he has rushed through my visit. This is very important to me as it has happened to me with other doctors. He always answers every question or concern promptly and thoroughly. I initially went to see him because I was a prior patient of his father, Russell Leavitt, MD, before I moved from Grants Pass. His father had retired by the time I moved back 17 years later, so I thought I'd try one appointment. I'm very happy I saw him that first time because now I've been his patient for almost 10 years. I have Sjogren's Syndrome and detailed check-ups are crucial. He recently performed cataract surgery on me at his clinic's own Surgery Center and everything could not have gone any better! I had corrective lenses inserted and for the first time in my life I can see across the bedroom when I first wake up! The nurses that work with him are the best I've ever had. I had one eye done and the other done a month later. Both times I would not have even known my IV had been inserted had I not looked at it! (I've had other surgeries elsewhere and IVs before and the painful IV was all I remember now.) So I am thrilled by Cascade's care of me! His entire Staff is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional whenever I call or go in for a visit. I have seen a couple of the other doctors that are in the practice on an emergency basis when Dr. Leavitt hasn't been there and was very happy with them also. In my experience, I highly recommend Cascade Eyecare Center, and Cascade Surgery Center!
