This is an amazing, beautiful place to stay when you need to be close to the hospital.

A wonderful, supportive place for out of towners to stay during surgery, chemo, or radiation therapy. Charge is only $50 per night or whatever you can pay. To keep costs down, they ask you to change the bed, change the linen, and clean the bathroom, if you or your family are able. They sometimes have volunteers that will do it for everyone. Room is very limited, and they work with your surgeon or oncologist to know when to expect you.

We stayed while I had knee replacement surgery. The staff was awesome and very helpful! I would recommend The Family House in Grant's Pass to everyone needing a place to stay close to hospital.

I stayed for the first time in February 2022, and I'm about to return shortly. I cannot say enough positive things about the warmth and genuine caring from everyone at The Family House. I had the most interaction with Connie, and she was beyond accommodating and thoughtful. The facility is spotless, the kitchen is stocked with everything imaginable, the rooms are nice and bright, and there are indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy a good book or to socialize if you're so inclined. I just want to say thank you for providing this beautiful environment during such a trying time for your guests. It helps make my cancer journey a lot easier!

Absolutely wonderful place! We stayed in an RV spot for a week with our dogs. (Dogs are allowed in rv spots but not the house.) Full hookups at the rate of $30/night. It includes full use of the house, which has a large community kitchen, free laundry, nice clean large shower and toilet, huge beautiful outdoor yard, and several common hang out areas in the house. Staff was amazing, particularly Connie, who took great care of us and was lots of fun to talk to. There is a shopping center about a 5 min walk away which includes a Rite Aid and a Safeway. The RV spots are between the yard and the movie theater, and some sketchy people hang around the movie theater parking lot during the day and night, but nobody bothered us and we never felt unsafe. We are so, so grateful to have a place like this to stay! Thank you!
