Well the doctor was fine He was very cold The front desk staff was great very friendly very open but their customer service is something to be desired I have been trying for weeks to get a hold of somebody and nobody were to return my calls they saved for a quicker response to text them but that is simply not true I have texted them I have chatted with somebody online and I can't get anybody to call me back so I can get simple questions answered and appointment scheduled while the location of the building is convenient I would not recommend going simply because their customer service is very much lacking
PERSONAL OPINION During today's visit I was told that even with all my health problems I don't need pain medication I've been going to pain management for 15 years 5 years out here in in Oregon. I have fibromyalgia osteoarthritis osteoporosis ataxia a rare disease chronic pain which is a everyday day thing that causes debilitating to life. After Dr. Grattan supposedly retired at such a young age I feel something is wrong are they being investigated. Something is definitely going on. But doctor said cancer is a reason for pain medication and nothing he sees with any of my conditions there is a reason for pain medication. I have had 2 neck surgeries 2 shoulder surgeries countless steroid injections and static nerves burnt now you think I went through this for years years for the fun of it NO I DON'T THINK SO I met a few people who are joining me to figure this out tomorrow starts fcc advice advocate nurses team and an attorney very much interested. There's no reason to live in chronic pain unless you get cancer

This place is a total joke. I would not recommend them to anybody. They billed my insurance company for a day that I wasn't even at the clinic. And then billed me $50 for them canceling an appointment on me! My first visit with the doctor he said he doesn't have a problem with cannabis use. They prescribed my opioid pain medications for 2 months following that appointment without even seeing me in person. Then last month when I was sick with covid they refused to fill my prescriptions unless they saw me in person.! Even though I reminded them they had already done just that 2 months in a row. They didn't care. The doctor did not care how bad I was hurting. So after my quarantine. Was over and I was able to actually see the doctor again for the second time. Dr Maxsimov. He told me he wouldn't give me medicine if I was going to continue to use cannabis.! 😲... I reminded him the first appointment he said he didn't have a problem with cannabis use! This guy needs to make up his mind. He doesn't care about any patients pain. 0 star would be more accurate.
pro-tip: if you are an oregon medicinal marijuana patient for psychiatric illness, columbia pain & spine institute will demand you stop using it in order to receive pain management. they will tell you it is the law, it is NOT. they will refuse to "argue", you should refuse to be forced to choose which of your debilitating conditions you want treated. Good Sam pain management understands the reality of cannabis-based medication and they dont force their patients to give it up. give them a call first. The doctor and staff are all nice enough, but the anti-mmj policy and the dissemination of factually false information is too many bad marks against them.
I've been seeing this clinic for a few months now for a herniated disc. Dr. Maksimov has been helpful and quick to a solution, which I appreciate. I had a steroid injection and the nurse who helped me was super helpful and caring. The shot did not help me so I had a follow up appt to get a surgery referral. I was also given some hydrocodone to help with my pain. The hydrocodone wasn't very effective, so I called the office multiple times until someone called me back. I explained how I am in a lot of pain and can't do my job properly and they scheduled me for a week from then. I was then passed off to an assistant bc I had a medical question, and all she did was write it down and she will ask the Dr. I've never heard an answer and this was a week ago. I run out of hydrocodone, and nothing else has any effect. Out of desperation for some possible relief, I bought some LEGAL weed for pain management and it actually helps a bit, I was surprised. So I go to the follow up appt to see about more effective pain medicine. I see a different doctor, Dr. Lefebre. She was very cold and unkind. Apparently Dr. Maksimov had put in my chart back in January that I have a "history of marijuana use" which is false, I just started a few days ago. She just goes into how they don't prescribe opioids to people who use weed. She doesn't even suggest a non-opiod drug she could prescribe. I had to ask for a different drug and she's like oh yea that can work. ISN'T IT YOUR JOB AS THE DOCTOR TO BE ABLE TO PRESCRIBE MEDICINE?!?! This whole process of trying to get my back fixed has consisted of me having to ask and fight for every test, procedure, drug, etc. Our medical system is so broken.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
