I am so blessed to have Dr. McGowan and everyone at Cascade Physicians on my side. I so appreciate Evelyn's hugs and words of encouragement and Sheryl's after hours call to check up on me. I have never receive such great care from any physician or their staff as I have received at Cascade Physician's in Gresham.

My first visit today. Dr. McGowan was very patient, kind,knowledge, took the time to answer my questions. Had blood drawn and barely felt it which is amazing as I have extremely small veins and they are hard to find which makes having to have my blood drawn quite painful,but not this time. Wait time was minimal and Dr. McGowan's nurse was extremely pleasant. I have a return appointment. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr McGowan is the first doctor to actally LISTEN to us. He spends quality time , is exceptionally knowledgable and knows his patients. The front and back office staff: Amanda, Stacey, Evelyn and Marla know us , have great communication and empathy. Merri in the lab is the same. If something is “urgent” to us there is no question. They always know us. We will never leave

I liked this doctor, but he, and his associate Dr in his office, didn’t diagnose my cancer. They didn’t even send me for tests, knowing my history. These two doctors just kept telling me that my nausea and sickness was all in my head, and prescribed drugs for depression. I moved to another city in Oregon, and a country doctor listened to me, read my history, and immediately sent me to get the tests to check further, and I’m alive today because of this country doctor.

Dr. McGowan is very receptive to questions and concerns. He explains the diagnosis, or considerations of diagnoses thoroughly, and shares his ideas of possible approaches. He is open to input. I have not been hesitant to ask questions or discuss the reasons for his approach.

Dr McGowan is so very knowledgeable about everything. He takes his time with you and answers all your questions and concerns . He will always make sure you understand what he is telling you and will refer you when needed right away!
