I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Patricia Gallegos. She was very pleasant, asked appropriate questions, answered my questions fully, and performed the necessary physical examinations. Since this was my first visit, she ordered blood tests and several scans and procedures that are long overdue. She's also willing to work with my naturopathic practitioner in ordering needed tests. I highly recommend her!

Have been seeing Dr. Gallegos for 15 years + and I love her. She takes the time to get to know you, is very caring and down to earth. She never seems to want to hurry me out to see the next patient. I have found that she is a very good Dr. and I have never had any experiences other than perfectly wonderful. I am very happy with the entire office and staff and I recommend them to anyone who wants a good reliable, kindhearted and knowledgeable doctor. She is able to do small biopsies too.

During my first visit with Dr. Gallegos, I asked for several referrals. One for a naturopath - which she grimaced at - and one for a dermatologist for some small areas of skin discoloration. She said "you don't need a dermatologist -- I can take care of it though you may have a small scar. Less than encouraging remarks... I never got the referrals and her diagnosis of my conditions took into account nothing we discussed - just a by the numbers recap which was highly offensive.

Dr. Gallegos is a perfectly nice doctor willing to write prescriptions and referrals (eventually, after repeated inquiries) but nothing beyond that. She will not follow-up with you, when you send messages you will get a reply that seems a non sequitur (if you get a reply at all) and she will not help you manage a chronic condition with any kind of complexity. Communication & follow-through is a serious problem for this doctor, the only positive thing I can say is her nurse Dierdre is great.

I felt heard and understood, not rushed like I've felt with another provider. I appreciated the fact that she has someone to type for her. Another provider I've been seeing was always on the computer typing and looking things up. I appreciated the looking things up, but I liked Dr. Gallegos being able to spend quality time with me and asking for certain things to be noted for her typist. I look forward to having Dr. Gallegos as my primary care physician.
