List of Richard Carpenter's Reviews
I have been treated for multiple broken bones and arthritis with chronic pain. Dr. Carpenter listens to me, answers my questions, and offers treatment options. Dr. Carpenter and his staff are very knowledgable and compassionate. I highly recommend them.
I've been a patient of Dr. Carpenter's for 30 years and my mom, before that. My mom was a fan and so am I. He always takes time to listen and genuinely cares about you and your medical needs. I would recommend him to everyone.
I came in with pain, x-rays confirmed a broken bone; we talked about options. We decided on what I wanted to have done; and went through the recovery process. All good.
I had a few stupid reasons for putting off getting established with an orthopedic here in town after moving, mostly due to past bones of contention with treatment, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The clinic is nice with a large waiting area. The wait was short. Since this is a small practice, it appears he doesn't overbook like crazy. He took his time, spoke with me, listened to me, and prescribed me what I needed. He actually looked at my patient record beside me in clinic and we talked about my history. Love this doc.
I've had several surgeries on various body parts over the past twenty years. I've never had a problem with the fixes, all went well, and I'm very satisfied with the service received
Este doctor vale verga. That's all you need to know
Very rude and unethical doctor. He changed my diagnosis twice for the same injury. When I asked him about the first diagnosis, he just got mad and rudely told me to go find another doctor. He acts as if you are too stupid to understand what he is talking about. I will never go to this doctor ever again. He needs to retire. I watched him forget his office phone number when he went to write it down. He has had that same number for at least 25 years.
NEVER trust this doctor!!! He is very rude. He gets upset if you question any of his decisions. His response to your questions is "if you don't like it, find another doctor". He forgets the diagnosis from visit to visit. He gave me a diagnosis for an injury and then the follow-up visit, he gave me a totally different diagnosis for the same injury. I asked him about his first diagnosis and he told me to just go find another doctor. This doctor should have retired a long time ago.
The experience I has was the absolute worst ever. He let his nurse practitioner give me injections in my knees. She had never done it before. Needless to say she hurt me and the injections didn’t work. When it was time for my appointment he had left the office and didn’t come back for a half hour. Then he said I couldn’t make another appointment. That I had lousy insurance. Then he proceeded to say Obama ruined Oregon with the ACA. Really unethical. He needs to retire
Dr. Carpenter and his staff (especially Anna) are professional and very friendly. Although I live an hour away I will use Dr. Carpenter again if my left knee needs repair.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
