List of My Hearing Centers's Reviews
I have hearing loss from the US Army and from my past career with the Oregon State Police and I have struggled to find someone to help me set up a good pair of hearing aids. Candidly, William and his Wife run the shop in La Grande and in Baker City and they do a fantastic job getting my numbers tuned in to help me hear much better. It's like getting your first set of prescription glasses and realizing that you can see that you have lived in a beautiful area for the first time. Just do it! It is a life changer...
I get their crap mailer in my mailbox about every month and toss in the garbage. They should realize that if I need a hearing aid I will seek help but not from a company that has mass mailings trying to get business. I have contacted them to get off mailing lists but have just been ignored.
I was sold the AGX when I had asked for Starkey hearing aids. I started complaining soon after getting them--the doctor would adjust them-they would be good for about a day-then just horrible. I do not recommend the AGX hearing aid--they were expensive--$6500 three years ago. Basically I was told to just lump it and use them. After three years of struggle and torture, am going elsewhere for one of the leading brands of hearing aids.
Being in my 50's, my hearing became very bothersome. Unable to hear clearly, and understand conversations caused me to hide from many social activities. Going in to see Dr. Maxon for a reason of the hearing loss was the most freeing thing. She tested my hearing, in depth, and my hearing loss was indeed, a profound loss due to a medical issue. Dr. Maxon, and her staff made my self esteem grow back to what i know, giving great encouragement, and support as i experience life again..this time, with the perfect hearing aids fitting my needs. We are very blessed to have Eastern Oregon Audiology in our area..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
