I say Dr Okonkwo first when my PCP was out on maternity leave. We agreed to continued care even after my PCP returned. She has been instrumental in helping me manage my well-being. In taking her advice, I am on my way to losing many pounds that have plagued me for years.

Dr. "O" as she is known to many, is an exceptional person and doctor. She is by far the most personable doctor I've ever known, and I'm over 60 yrs old. She gives you every ounce of her attention, listens to every word you say, and even to words you don't say... then talks to you about solutions. She will thoroughly explain everything and will sit with you until she knows you fully understand your options. You will never feel rushed or ignored. You will walk away feeling much better than you felt walking in, because you'll know she heard you and cares about you and wants only the best for you. I have never met any doctor like her. I literally trust her with my life. I can't speak highly enough about her and have recommended her to all of my family and friends. I'm thankful to Dr. Okonkwo for choosing to come to LaPine and for being my doctor.

Not sure if you were just visiting Pullman or if you will be staying but when you saw me and heard my vague descriptions of abdominal pain it was like I was really being listened to by you. Thank You for taking that time, with your thoughtfulness and not just falling back on the diagnosis others told me was the problem. The random pain I was attempting to describe had to have been hard to troubleshoot, but because of your not standing for the status quo they were able to discover a 16cm renal cyst on my kidney. I have since had the cyst drained and feel 100% better. Thank you again for not only listening but hearing me. I would recommend you to anyone.
