Amer Mirza's Online Review Report Card

A few years ago I had the privilege of working with Dr. Mirza and Dr. Frohme at Emanuel. I now find myself on the other side of the coin after fracturing my pelvis. This clinic is how we dream all clinics and emergencies would flow. Everyone was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful from entrance to exit. Andrew Romaine, PA was happy to see me although Dr. Mirza was not in clinic that day for which I was grateful. The x-ray department was very patient with my lack of positioning myself but with their help it worked out. I am so grateful for this “as it should be” clinic! Making appointments is a breeze! These are all of the little things, when not addressed well, can make an emotionally stressful and physically situation a nightmare. Thank you to all of the staff for taking care of me just how I would take care of you in my operating room.

Excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable and wonderful bedside manner. His entire staff is professional, courteous, and a joy to have them take care of me. I can't thank them enough....

Dr.Mirza put me back together after a bad car accident. His team is amazing too! My current doctors marvel at his work as it was a very complicated surgery. My family and I are forever grateful, my kids needed their mom :) I have had one more follow up surgery and they said his surgical work was truly amazing. If you are lucky enough to get him, you are in good hands!

Dr.Mirza was not only professional but personable too. I felt total confidence in him and he did not disappoint. He was able to “maneuver “ putting my hip back into place after two unsuccessful attempts by the other doctors and thus avoiding another surgery.

A recent hip replacement popped out and I ended up at Emanuel Hospital. Dr. Mirza was exceptionally calmly, I felt total trust in just meeting him and his whole team!! They got me “put back together “, thankfully avoiding another surgery! THANK YOU Dr. Mirza and your whole team, I am so grateful!

My right knee replacement surgery and recovery went so well that I was actually looking forward to my left knee replacement surgery. The surgery center was also a very positive experience.

I had a knee replacement performed by another surgeon. It was a terrible experience. Swelling, acute pain, getting fluid drained once a month, etc... The doctor that performed the surgery was at a loss for why I was having issues. He referred me to Dr. Mirza. Dr. Mirza did his homework before my first visit. After looking at all of the lab work he diagnosed that my body was rejecting the metal of the first knee replacement (zirconium). He scheduled me with a revision surgery 4 weeks later using titanium. The whole experience from Dr. Mirza and the staff was 5 star. The new knee works great.

Truly one of the finest, kindest, most competent physicians I've met and I am a retired RN! The staff in the entire office including their "Go To" urgent care were professional and responsive reflecting his values as a clinician. An aside; I traveled from outside the country for his services. He and his staff were great to work with when it came to the travel details.

Dr. Mirza was my surgeon for my right total knee replacement in October. So far I’m having a great result from that surgery. He just did my left knee a couple weeks ago and I’m hoping to have the same good result. Dr. Mirza and his medical team are very thorough in making sure you’re prepared for the surgery as well as clear in what should be done post-surgery. I am pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Mirza and his medical team.

My meetings with Dr Mirza gave me confidence in his skills and my knee surgery went very well. The daily follow up thru GetWell Loop has been very helpful. I look forward to my follow up with Dr Mirza to give me the go ahead to resumes normal activities.
