Dr. Burgess is an amazing surgeon! She performed my reconstruction after having had two lumpectomies and a double mastectomy. I am beyond happy with the work she did! I wasn’t expecting the end result to look so great and feel so natural. Also, everyone on staff at Dr. Burgess’ office is extremely helpful and attentive. Going through breast cancer surgery can be very emotional, and I really felt supported and well cared for by everyone on staff. I highly recommend Dr. Burgess for anyone looking for a highly skilled reconstruction surgeon who does incredible work!

So far every single interaction with this office and Dr have been amazing. I am a week from my surgery, and not only have I heard rave reviews about Dr. Burgess from other medical professionals, but their office staff have gone above and beyond to help me. Specifically, Debbie, the office manager, helped me deal with strange and complicated insurance issues and helped make sure everything was squared away prior to surgery. I've never been so amazed by customer service!!! With all of this, I'm not even nervous about my surgery outcome! And if that's not a big goal for a surgical team, I don't know what is. **UPDATE** I am now 6 months post op and I have ZERO regrets. Best experience I could ever have hoped for, and fantastic care!! 10/10 avidly recommend!

I first came to Dr Burgess feeling discouraged & even doubtful she could repair the mess my previous plastic surgeon had left of my chest after he had performed a botched double mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is difficult enough but then having to live feeling disfigured made things even more traumatic. After researching, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Burgess. I was treated by her and her staff with respect & kindness. They are very professional & thorough. I left that first appointment with hope! Dr Burgess assured me that she could make my chest look much better than it did. And did she ever! Dr Burgess needed to perform three reconstructive surgeries in order to improve the appearance of my chest. I could not be happier with the results! My only regret is that I didn’t see her initially. I no longer cringe when I see myself in the mirror, I feel like a woman again. This has been an emotional and long journey for me. I am so very grateful to Dr Burgess! She’s an amazing plastic surgeon and person. And such a blessing she has been for me!

Dr. Burgess and her staff took great care of me before, during and after my surgery. I am very happy with the results and would recommend her to anyone interested plastic surgery or medical spa procedure. They are incredibly careful, responsive, knowledgeable, supportive and trustworthy. I found a lot of comfort in how strictly their office operated and followed all healthcare guidelines. I knew I was safe and in good hands. I never felt judged or pressured, instead I felt like I was able to ask all my questions and express all my feelings in a safe environment with helpful doctors, nurses and staff. Thank you ❤️

Burgess is THE place to go for lips! Trust me you will not regret it. I've gotten my lips done twice before but the third time was here and I will never go to anyone else ever again. The staff is very friendly, attentive and the one on one care is amazing. The nurse I worked with really took her time to help me figure out which lip product would be best for me where everywhere else just chose for me and didn't do much explaining as to why it was the best option. She also went over all the pros cons and possible side effects of each treatment which i also didn't receive from other places. They also use so many different aseptic practices so you know you're getting the best and safe quality of treatment (the other two places I went didn't use as many aseptic techniques) . Burgess and staff are very profesional and really go above and beyond for you. 10/10 highly recommend!! FYI: the photo I attached are my lips 1.5 months after treatment.

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Burgess about three months ago. This was my first cosmetic procedure, and I knew I wanted to walk away from it still looking natural and like myself. Dr. Burgess and her staff were fabulous throughout the whole process. They did a great job of educating and explaining sizing, and helped me think beyond just appearance. I walked away from my procedure looking perfectly proportionate to my body and natural, and it’s all thanks to trusting their advice on what size to go with. If you’re looking for a doctor who provides natural, functional results vs the “plastic” look, Burgess Plastic Surgery is your place!

I've enjoyed every interaction with Dr. Burgess, her nurses and her staff. They made me feel welcomed from initial contact to the consult to the pre-op, and importantly on surgery day and post-op. I felt like more than a file or a patient but someone they recognized, remembered stuff about and cared about. Dr. Burgess is a true professional and her work far, far exceeded my expectations. She walked me through my options and what she recommended and let me know there may be some real time decisions she would need to make while I was under sedation but since she'd been so great to that point I had no reservations about trusting her judgment. Highly recommend!

There is a two month wait to see Dr. Burgess for a consultation. The consultation charge is two hundred dollars.My consultation was for a lower face lift.No eyes....I believe this is what I indicated in my original paperwork which I filled out and mailed in weeks ahead of time.Dr. Burgess's assistant told me when I arrived that Dr. Burgess does not do neck and chin lifts only.My consultation with Dr. Burgess lasted all of ten minutes.During this time Dr. Burgess told me the surgical procedure which she was going to perform on my face which included taking fat from my abdomen and putting it in my cheek bones and lifting my eyes i.e continuing up past the area around my mouth and on upward.Things were happening fast. Too fast. When I walked to the scheduling area the scheduler after my ten minutes with the doctor handed me two sheets of paper with options for pre surgery facials and a post surgery treatment which I will describe as collagen stimulation .Prices ranging on either treatment from five hundred to two thousand dollars.asking me which option I wanted. Dr. Burgess's assistant mentioned the post op collagen treatment to me however this pre surgery facial package I had not heard of. At this point I should have 'gone with my gut' as the saying goes. I did not. I scheduled surgery for March of 2023. Five hundred dollars non refundable scheduling fee.I left nervous and overwhelmed. Which normally Iam not. I felt that since the doctor was so far booked out that if I didn't make the decision right then we would be into summer until I could have my surgery which I did not want to do.Later that day I called to speak with Dr. Burgess's assistant. I told her that I was overwhelmed and did not quite understand how I went from a neck and jowl lift to my entire face. She tried as best she could to answer my questions and concerns but I could tell that she was struggling to give me an answer.The next morning Dr. Burgess called me. This was a kind thing to do. I told her my concerns. She told me that as far as my eyes go that,"I needed it.' but that I did not need to have my eyes done but eventually I would so it would be the best thing to do. I thanked her for calling.That same day Dr. Burgess's scheduling office called to tell me that there was a cancellation in February. I told her that I was just going to call to cancel the surgery. She asked me if there was anything else she could do for me. I said, 'Yes..consider returning to me my 'non refundable ' five hundred dollars down...which of course has not happened. You would think..at least I would..that cancelling within twenty four hours would bring about a return in the five hundred dollar fee...but it does not. I mean...what did Dr. Burgess and her staff do to earn seven hundred dollars? That is some pretty good wages!I feel that I spent seven hundred dollars of my hard earned money to spend ten minutes, lets now say fifteen including the phone call , to find out way to quickly that I was not listened to.The price of the consultation is way out of the ball park, the consultation went way to quickly,I did not appreciate having other services for even more money slid across the table to me which were touted as 'not really an option if you wish the surgery results to be a success.' . I have since made an appointment for one week out for a different surgeon who came highly recommended. The consultation is free of charge.Go home and think about it...Take your time. Do not take out your payment of five hundred dollars for at least a week.This is a huge decision. Its your body and your face.Thank you for taking the time to read this review.L.Jones
