List of William Barish's Reviews
Dr. Barish warehoused my dad in the local Lebanon nursing home because he was old and he didn't want to be bothered with him. My dad laid in a bed with a broken upper femur because Dr. Barish and his associates said that the bone wasn't "much out of alignment", would probably heal in two months and my dad would be able to walk again. Believing him, we let my dad lay there for the two months (with periodic physical therapy sessions provided by the center because Medicare wouldn't pay anymore due to hia lack of progress). After two months we took him to Dr. Cohen (sp) an orthopedic surgeon out of Good Sam in Corvallis who said, upon reviewing my dad's x-rays, "Why wasn't this man brought to me sooner? He has the bones of a 55-year-old." He operated on my dad who came through the surgery just fine. The only problem was that he had been confined to the bed too long to the point that his muscles had deteriorated along with everything else, esp. his spirit. He never walked again.
In a world of increasing expensive and impersonal healthcare, Dr. Barish is a shining example of the best of the medical profession. Intelligent and direct without being unnecessarily blunt or pushy, Dr. B. tells it like it is, laying out the facts and allowing the patient to make properly informed medical decisions. I couldn't recommend him more.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
