List of Erling Oksenholt's Reviews
He is a misogynist jerk who will only spend time if you are a white male of an age close to him (late 70’s-80’s). I witnessed it firsthand. He treated my (76yr old) roommate like an old friend on two occasions. I (53yr female) went in for a new patient exam (alone). He treated me terribly. He wouldn’t look me in my eyes. He refused to fill RX’s I had been taking over five and ten years, pushing me off to another doctor after I had waited 4 months to get in to see him. He was gruff and uncaring. He stated he was leaving at the end of the year anyways. 100% jerk. He had no clue I had seen him in action acting 100% different with my senior, male roommate.
Condescending and dismissive attitude. Seemed more interested in being right and pushing meds then actually helping me. Seeking help for two injuries; one of which he did write an order for physical therapy.... which is greatly helping . The other one I was told to suffer with it and that it could likely take a year to heal. Unrealisticly, he told me to just not use my arm for 2 months. I was also told that physical therapy wouldn't help it and that my insurance wouldn't pay for it; neither of which is true. So... fired him and went to a real health care practitioner, who gladly wrote me an order for physical therapy, understanding the need to address the actual issue and not just cover up or ignore the painful symptoms. Felt like this visit to Dr. Oksenholt was a complete waste of my time and energy.
Just another revenue generator visit. The new Nurse (many filter through) was not very welcoming and made me feel uneasy and on the defensive. Then the exam from Dr O. which was also a check the box visit. Luke warm visit, nothing positive and come back soon we need more money
Well a nice man in the introduction The first few minutes of seeing him he was pretty courteous and nice and said that my partner he had seen before was nice ,!” On me only for about -5 10 minutes and then I was out the door, and I understand that COVID is an issue and keeping it as saying that I’m doing wonderful and I am looking well thank you so much for sticking around...
Dr Oksenholt is one of the worse doctors I have ever seen he skill level at best is that of a nurses aid.. he is neglectful and wreckless in his practice of medicine
Dr Oksenholt was our family doctor for two years. He always gave us an excellent level of care. There were even times where he stopped by the house to check up on us after treatment.Dr Oksenholt has a wealth of experience and knowledge along with a great sense of humor and bed side manner. We miss having him as our family doctor.
A trustworthy doctor.
I don't know what I was thinking, I should have read previous reviews on this guy. I would try to discuss my needs and what I expect from a G.P. I don't think we were speaking the same language. INSULTING!! to me and my wife.
Never again...Oksenholt's advice to me after my "exam" was to "Thank God that you are alive for another day"!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me...I had a tumor on my back and he took my money and insulted me. Awful...he did not hear a word I was saying.
I put up with Dr. Oksenholt's abusive behavior and arrogant attitude for too long and finally changed doctors when he put my life in danger. I had a serious illness that jeopardized my health and well-being. I had severe symptoms for 6 months and all he said was that there was nothing wrong with me. Dr. Oksenholt refused to run tests that could have identified the problem. He said I couldn't go to another doctor and I had to accept what he was telling me. I went to a different doctor who ran the tests and scans and identified the problem that required emergency surgery. Had it been left untreated, I could have suffered life-threatening consequences. The only thing Dr. Oksenholt cares about is being right. It's all about his ego. His bedside manner is terrible. He goes to under-developed countries and treats people who have no other choice for medical care. God help them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
