Dr. Gerber may appear to be kind and compassionate, but if he suggests surgery, it's best to get a second opinion by an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in feet. You may find that surgery is NOT recommended or may actually make things worse! Better to have skill and knowledge rather than a pleasant bedside manner!

Dr Gerber was recommended to me by a friend. She told me he was kind and attentive. I had the same experience. I had twisted my ankle over the summer and expected it to heal on its own. Fearing that I had made my trouble worse by not seeing a doctor sooner, I found that he put my fears at ease! His staff was nice too.

I have been seeing Dr. Gerber for quite some time now. Whenever I have an appointment with him and his staff members they always treat me like I am their only patient. Dr. Gerber takes whatever time is necessary and I never feel like he is rushed to get to his next appointment...I’m not just a number like I Sometimes feel with other doctors. I would highly recommend Dr. Gerber and his kind and professional staff members.

The only shortcoming I felt was the office receptionist needs a training on dealing with patients. Perhaps some training on how to politely direct patients to take a seat or anything to make them feel a little more comfortable. She just just lacked maturity in her mannerisms.

I get my toenails cut every two months as well as the callouses are sanded or treated. I am very happy with Dr. Gerber. He is very friendly and efficient. His staff is very nice and friendly as well.
