So good here I had no problems getting what I needed
Was saddened by the lack of care we received here. They seem to be in no rush to get anyone help in the ER. Sat for 90 minutes and they called one single patient back…. ONE. No urgency whatsoever while people in the lobby are sitting with broken bones and babies coming in with respiratory issues. I know medical professionals have a hard task, but wow you’d barely know there were any medical professionals even working here. Save yourself the frustration and go to Asante.
My brother needed me to drive him to the ER because he had shortness of breath, excruciating back pain and exhaustion for over a week. This commentary is based on my observations in the waiting area and my brother's experience in triage. I sat next to a man who appeared distressed and anxious. After some time, he went to the window to remind the receptionist that he was in horrible pain. I could not hear the receptionist. He came back and sat down. I asked him how long he had been waiting, he said two hours. I asked him "what's wrong? He said "staph infection, I have a hole in my stomach". Right then my brother came out and seemed anxious, he told me the phlebotomist was incompetent and arrogant. He tried to tell her about his thick tough skin and show the one place where blood can be drawn. She would not listen. She poked him three times while he pleaded with her to listen. While my brother waited in triage, the staff was huddled around one woman ans several law enforcement officers. The hospital staff was socializing, talking about patients, looking at their phones while LE was deciding to cuff the woman. At this time the receptionist came up to a doctor and reminded him of the staph infected patient in the waiting room, he deflected and said they will have to wait. I'm actually scheduled for a colonoscopy in one week. If the staff in the ER is a glimpse of the attitude and culture of Providence towards patients, there is no way I'm going to put myself in there hands while I am under anesthesia.
It is worth mentioning that Medford Providence Hospital lacks a positive environment for pharmacy rotations, and they seem to project negative energy onto you consistently. They attempt to make you feel inadequate and emphasize their superiority over you.
Ive been waiting in the waiting room for 3hrs got called once did nothing and no one else has spoken to me and overall it just sucked
What a nice hospital. People are so nice and very helpful
These people have messed with life saving medications by taking their sweet time to sign them. Dr. Solomon is usually great so I'm not sure what is going on. But my husband has now been without both his pain meds and diabetes meds for over a week because of it. Even after he was told theyd take the prescription straight to the doctor to sign. Please talk to your staff about this because you are risking his life!!
On April 10th of 2023 I was at your facility for a biopsy. I just was to comment all of you at the Surgery Center floor for making feel that your facility is the BEST ever. I will never go anywhere else. THANKS SO MUCH.
My husband went in for a blood draw today in the lab, OH MY GOSH came home after being poked 3 times and his arm is black at the elbow from draw plus top of hand and inner wrist. Who ever did this shouldn't be drawing blood but emptying bed pans. He didn't get her name but suggested maybe the extremely long fake eyelashes may have interfered.
BEWARE! Staff is VERY DISFUNCTIONAL! The only person i trust is my doctor. Staff screwed EVERYthing up more than once! From making appointments and not even calling to tell us "We even had one" or what it was for - To getting Proceedure codes wrong more than once. DO YOUR OWN homework and make certain they are doing what they are supposed to be doing AND "DOING IT CORECTLY" Sad day when we have to Micro Manage a "Professional instution?" Again "I like and trust my doctor/ Surgeon." beware of the rest!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
