Apparently I can't make an appointment as a new patient without a referral from a general practitioner. I have had epilepsy since I was 13 and there is nothing a general practitioner can do but charge me for an unnecessary appointment I don't need because otherwise I am perfectly healthy. I need to see a neurologist and the doctor can request my records from my previous doctor a neurologist. But they won't let me make an appointment.

My 19 yr old grandson suddenly started having Clonic-tonic seizures (gran mal) 4 weeks ago. The 2nd in 2 weeks prompted the ER to refer him to Asante Neurology as an emergency. Today I was told the first emergency appointment available is September! A lot can happen in 7 months. I know these places hold openings for emergency situations. Not acceptable. He needs a diagnosis and treatment now. Looking for something out of town!

This office is always so friendly, the MA's are professional and real. Provider's know what is best for their patient. Glad to be a patient here
