I’m a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and usually do not provide my opinion on theses venues but I wanted to pass along my deep satisfaction with Dr Collin Grant, and the Great staff at the Surgery Cnt. of Southern Oregon,Medford,Or. Ive experienced debilitating lumbar spinal pain daily for the last 3 yrs. For those unfamiliar with the pain scale 0 (no pain)….10 (the worse of all pain) I’ve lived with a pain level 8 / 9. yesterday I was given my 2nd Nerve Block. In what I would report as a near miracle, that within 30 min my pain level dropped to scale 3 ( min.pain ). Frankly, it seemed unbelievable that the pain that seemed to dominate my activity is being resolved. For those that have, what seems like un-retractable pain and discomfort that, within the time it takes to receive a few key injections has finally given relief. There may still hope for those that lived with pain and feel that taking addictive opiates and the side effects of anti-inflammatory medications were not an option, consider being evaluated by Dr Collin Grant. It was the most horrible experience I've ever had. Was shaking and crying almost falling off table with each shock. When over told Dr. I was shaky and didn't know if I could get off table.he said papers b at ur Drs. And left I was left alone to try get off table. Barely made it to front desk where girl ask if I was ok I said No so she called my hubby to come help me. I was crying almost all day and shaking. It was horrible. Dr. Peter was cold and not caring.

I saw Dr. Austin Grant who is part of the family practice. He was thorough, informative, and easy to talk with. I would definitely recommend him.

The staff is very nice. I did however request a second opinion due to Dr.Grant only preforming apart of the test ordered. Thankfully the second opinion caught issues which suggested I receive an MRI of my brain which found lesions. It would have been nice if Dr.Grant had done the full testing so I wouldn't have had to wait longer to find out I had a more serious neurological issue instead of making me feel like I was wasting his time.
