I started seeing Dr. Carbonell during my high risk pregnancy. His bedside manor is amazing. My pregnancy journey was traumatizing and during Covid, yet he was there with get medical advice, helped me get into specialists in other states and was very understanding. I am very grateful for Dr. Carbonell and his amazing team.

I had my first baby and she's now six weeks old. My mom had nine home births so I wasn't familiar with the hospital procedures... I told Dr Carbonell I wanted him to walk me through everything and keep me in the loop with what was going on. The entire pregnancy and labor he tried to do things without telling me! I had no idea what a stretch and sweep was, and definitely wasn't prepared for it when he did it. I wanted to have the labor as natural as I could and didn't get an epidural. (although he was pretty pushy about getting one) The only time I cried the entire labor was when he came in and broke my water without telling me. He also tried to cut me in the middle of a contraction while I was pushing , when I had already told him I didn't want that. Luckily my husband was there and stopped him. (I ended up having a tiny tear) Labor is scary and when someone isn't telling what they're doing it's much worse. If you're looking for someone who's going to make all the decisions for you then that's great, but I wanted to have more say in what was going on.

The entire staff is AMAZING from the receptionist, to the nurses, to the doctor! Dr. Carbonell is caring, patient, respectful, & extremely knowledgeable. (To provide just one example out of MANY, he took extra time out of his schedule to personally help me find contact information for a PCP and dermatologist referral as I was new to the area.) I also loved the convenience of completing ultrasounds on site; lab work was also easy as it was right down the road! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Our personal experience with Dr. Carbonell was good. He was professional and kind, however, we were billed 3 times for a single operation. Apparently they couldn't decide how much to charge us.
