Christina Godwin's Online Review Report Card

She took excellent care of my daughter two years ago. I was really worried, Dr. Godwin personally reassured me everything would be all right for twenty minutes and answered all my questions. My daughter is doing fine now thanks to her skill and expertise. I cannot recommend her enough.

Seeing as Dr. Christina Godwin is not on this site I am reviewing her through Dr. Siegel since I had seen Dr. Siegel for quite sometime and was very confident about him, Until, he pretty much transferred me to her, the new female Doctor in the clinic. She was in the exam room in training on one of the last times I was scheduled with him, and he let her do the cystoscopy on me, which is a serious test. I was told that it is like a mini surgery by other Urologists. I was very uneasy about her doing it and when she asked him if he would like to look in the scope, Dr. Siegel, said no. That also made me uneasy. She was in training and his opinion could have been different. The next time I called for an appointment I was told by the scheduler that I had to see Dr. Godwin. At that visit, Dr. Godwin along with her assistant abruptly barged into the exam room and immediately ridiculed me for talking about a possible problem in the past, while she made fun of me to her assistant who was standing there with attitude also. At the end of that visit, they were both upset about questions I had, and the assistant came out into the waiting room and yelled and pounded on the coffee table on my paperwork. I felt sorry for the young girl sitting across from me. She looked scared and her eyes were wide open watching what was going on. I had gone to this clinic for years and in the past two years I have seen a big negative change in attitude toward patients. Especially in my case. I have wondered if it had anything to do with being retired and having Medicare Insurance now? It is common for Doctors who are looking to retire soon to start transferring their patients to other Doctors in the clinic. However, there are many Doctors at this clinic, yet only a handful see female patients. I was unfortunate enough to get a Doctor who shouldn't be!! I no longer recommend this group to any woman. I did speak to the clinic resource person and she told me Dr. G told her, to tell me, they cannot do anything for me. ? Hmmmm, Cannot or Will Not. So, all patients beware, this could happen to you too.

I was referred to Dr. Siegel after having issues with the interstim device I had in me. I wasn't happy with it and asked someone I know at Medtronic to recommend a doctor to me. Dr. Siegel's name came up as the number one person to see. I was very satisfied with my sessions with him and his recommendations for me. My interstitial cystitis is better than it has been in the 8 years that I have been dealing with it. I wish I had found Dr. Siegel years ago! I would recommend him to anyone having any type of bladder concerns. I know that I will always have this condition but I also feel confident that I will be well cared for by Dr. Siegel and his staff.

Dr. Steven Siegel was recommended to me by my health care provider because of constant bladder infections and severe leakage . I was told by my provider that Dr. Siegel was excellent. The comment was made that if he couldn't fix my problem, no one could. I was also told that his bedside manners were outstanding and that he truly cared for his patients. I found all of the above to be accurate. He was always on time for his appointments and followed up by phone when he had concerns. I was given several options for treatment but because of his expertise I let him choose what he felt was best. It took several procedures which were explained thoroughly to me and to my husband. He never "gave up" until he made substantial progress. His team working for him were professional and caring. I can now say my problem is close to being solved due to Dr. Siegel's skill that is characterized as "top notch". He makes sure no stone is left unturned which gives patients a great deal of confidence. I would say without hesitation that there is no more competent urologist and surgeon than is Dr. Steven Siegel and I want to share this with all who are seeking help in this area.
