List of Christine Petersen's Reviews
Dr Petersen was efficient, seemingly bright, pleasant enough but entirely unhelpful. In the few mins she spent with me she dismissed the recent perscription of my previous eye doctor, said that my eyesight was "fine", my cataracts were not progressed enough for attention, and that my (significantly limiting) inability to see at night while driving or in a darkened theater was due to age (early 60's). When I asked if there was truly nothing that could help me see better in these situations, she shrugged and again attributed it all to age related decline that I needed to accept. While her assessment might be factual, she was not at all curious about my experience, how long this had been an issue, exactly what I was seeing, nor what things I had tried. She did not give any information about ways that others in a similar situation might have improved their sight in the dark. If this level of degraded eyesight is "normal" in people my age there are a lot of drivers out there in the long dark, wet nights putting us all in danger.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
