Dr. Wieking was great! He’s done both my ankle surgery and knee replacement. He’s approachable and easy to talk to and takes his time to explain things when you have questions or concerns. I would recommend him to anyone that may need surgery for ankle or knees.

Very thorough. Helped me come up with a course of action. Answered all my questions and I left feeling better than when I arrived. Discussed all my options. Very professional! I’m happy he is my orthopedist. Highly recommend. Bonus… he is young enough maybe he will be my last orthopedist too!

My ankle hurt for years but got worse as I aged. Dr Weiking explained my options and we decided on a total ankle replacement. I'm back to walking the dog, gardening and generally appreciating life as I remember. Great surgeon; patient, kind and highly skilled.

Dr. Weiking took the time to explain my options to me. With his help and patience I eventually decided to have my ankle replaced. I can walk again! The difference is night & day; from not being able to get to the grocery store door (before the pain started) to walking my dog again and gardening. I cannot thank him enough. Only in the hospital overnight and he checked my ankle twice. His staff was very pleasant also. He even went to 'bat' for me in dealing with my (^%$&*^) HMO. I recommend Dr. Daniel Weiking, a truly gifted ankle guy!

From the first visit to evaluate the arthritis in my big toe joint to the last post-op visit, Dr. Wieking was kind, thoughtful and very concerned that we make the best decision for me. We started with cortisone injections but soon agreed that was not a long term solution. We discussed the surgical options, and I felt he really did the research to reassure me that he knew he could give me a high satisfaction result. Now I am 7 weeks post-op and asked myself after the first day post-op why I waited so long! I couldn’t be more pleased with my result, and I’m looking forward to many years of better mobility and many miles of walking. I will definitely be recommending Dr. Wieking to my friends and anyone I meet with similar foot issues!
