List of David I. Dryland's Reviews
Dr Dryland saved my sanity, I was under a lot of stress and didn't know I had Fibromialga. He listened told me what I had and set me up with medication and exercises. He listens and a lot of times he gives me information the other doctors I see don't bother to tell me. He is Amazing and kind
So, I have 2 labs a few years apart, my RF Quant has been very high, he's convinced it's not RA, it's fibromyalgia and a sleep disorder. He was watching a baseball game on his laptop and bad mouthing another RA Dr in town. I dunno how he can argue with RF Quants and tell me prednisone does zero for RA. I only need a small 10-14 day burst of prednisone to get me through my flare ups.
Dr Dryland went out of his way to personally call me at home on his day off. After several questions he prescribed appropriate medications and thoroughly explained what I was to do to feel better ASAP. I have nothing but praise for Dr Dryland!
I have never had a doctor actually listen to me. In my 46 years, I have been to many doctors prior to finding Dr. Dryland and they could never figure out what was wrong with me. They would say it was all in my head and dismiss me. Not only did Dr. Dryland listen to me, he figured out what was wrong with me in such a short time!! I can live my life now with minimal pain. He literally gave me my life back. I'm so very grateful for him and his care. You will not be disappointed if you choose Dr. Dryland as your rheumatologist. I promise you that.
He’s the most respectful Rheumatologist I’ve ever met he listens to you and take care of your needs I don’t have much to say about other people that work for him but I know he’s the best I’ve been with him for 25 years
He was very knowledgeable and zeroed in on the problem and solution right away. His suggestion worked. He was a bit arrogant about my listening to a PA instead of going to a doctor. However I had to wait 3 mos. to get in to see him while a PA saw me right away. I'm willing to overlook his abruptness because I trust him to treat my condition properly. He really knows his area of my expertise.
I waited 4 months to see Dr. Dryland (they rescheduled me once and I found out later that it was because they had moved). The staff was clearly flustered, the room I was ushered into by the nurse was not fully stocked--she didn't even have a blood-pressure cuff and was clearly frustrated that her job was to do all the preliminary tasks but she couldn't. The doctor was smug, dismissive, made me feel stupid and said at THREE separate times in the 20 minutes I was there as a new patient, "You are just wearing out." WORST Rheumatologist EVER! In fact, none of the other 4 I have seen in my life even comes close to his rudeness and unprofessionalism. Unfortunately, he is the only one in Rogue Valley apparently who is supposed to work with fibromyalgia patients but he clearly is not interested in working with fibromyalgia patients and just brushed me off.
Everyone at Dr. Dryland’s new location in Ashland is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is more relaxed and as always Dr. Dryland listens and gives answers with knowledge, directness, and compassion. Infusion staff couldn’t be more skilled or pleasant, reducing the stressful aspects of the needed treatments. Highly recommend.
Dr. Dryland listens to me, has personally returned my calls and I trust him completely
I saw Dr. Dryland in 2019 and I have multiple forms of Arthritis. He was arrogant from the start! Like a Linda Blair moment! He actually pushed me not once, but twice as I was sitting on the table, and said, does this hurt, I mean, really pushed me hard, so I fell backwards! So I slugged him in his arm and said, does this hurt! He said, why did you hit me? Why did you HIT me! The one in agony and severe pain! He dismissed my other rheumatologist opinion, when I was treated in San Diego, for several years, which is where I fly down there to be seen by specialists, because Grants Pass is the WORSE PLACE ON THE PLANET FOR CARE! No care! In desperation I called back, and they said, sorry after waiting for day’s to hear back, oh, Dr. Dryland said, he can’t help you! He disagrees with your problems and doesn’t believe you need to see him! What a JERK! He’s very limited with his abilities, and lack of ability’s! As all Dr’s have left this area, he’s one that should leave! He’s surely terrible, when he’s so limited with lack of expertise! We definitely are leaving this miserable place, where Dr’s are so limited and care is impossible, even Dr’s don’t want to be here! That says plenty! He really deserves a 0 star, for 0 care! A 10 for worse Dr. ever!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
