List of Jay B. Reeck's Reviews
Absolutely loved his bedside manner and how he informed me with all information. Only surgeon I would want to have work on me while I’m knocked out.
Dr.Reeck's ego and bedside manner leaves much to be desired. Not only did he miss diagnose me, but insisted on an expensive test that my insurance only covered half of. The one thing he did diagnose properly, (my divated septum), he offer no suggestions on how to correct it. I was very disappointed in his service. I would not reccomend.
I've been seeing Dr. Reeck for vertigo and tinnitus since June 2020. After several audiology tests, all he has to offer me is P.T. to treat vestibular weakness. He has nothing to offer for tinnitus except commiseration. I am under the impression that he doesn't want a challenge and just wants to sell expensive hearing aids and allergy shots. I am self referring to UCSF as I can't live with this.
His knowledge and expertise seems to be top notch. Great bedside manner. I definitely recommend him.
Was referred to Dr. Reeck for consideration of some way to open up my nasal passages. An ENT 15 years earlier had insisted I needed surgery. Dr. Reeck spent time adequately and simply explaining that he indeed could do surgery to open the passages more, but that he could not guarantee the surgery would make a big difference on ease of breathing through my nose. He also explained that while I did have a narrowed passage especially on one side, he did not consider it to be extreme. In the end I understood that probably my condition at this point fell more in the elective rather than necessary surgical category. I appreciated his explanation and honesty. A very pleasant visit and an ENT I would recommend and return to later if I felt indicated.
Dr. Reeck did a good job with my deviated septum. However he did not check further into my nasal breathing problem. I wanted a second opinion and when I went to another doctor for second opinion Dr. Reeck said that I could no longer be his patient because I had lost trust in him. I could hardly believe that a grown man, a professional person like a doctor, would wear his feelings on his sleeve and refused to see me, A post surgical patient, again because I sought a second opinion about a matter related to my nose. We tried several times to get him to see me again so that he could help me with my breathing problem but he refused. Finally I sought help from my doctor in grants Pass and I’m so glad that I did. Dr. Huffacker is a very knowledgeable experienced professional person. He recognized my problem right away and we have started needed help to resolve my nasal breathing problems
Awesome. Just did 2 surgery's for me in 2 weeks and he was great.
Dr Reek has been working with my 10 year old since he was 3. Even at 3, when he needed surgery, my son absolutely loved him and his staff. When we moved to Portland for 4 years, we were so disappointed with our doctor/care after having had such a great experience with Dr Reek. When we moved back here 2 years ago, we re-established care with him and have not been disappointed. He has such a great bedside manner as well as being a great doctor.
Is rare to find someone with such talent and compassion.
Dr. Reeck used a scope up my nose for diagnostic purposes. he is thorough, warm and friendly. Take time with you. It is a pleasure to have him as my doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
