List of Jill Steinsiek's Reviews
She's smart, patient, and responsive. We feel like we're in excellent hands.
She’s very caring, knowledgeable, and explains things clearly . She will take extra time when a patient’s situation warrants it, and listens carefully. She identified the cause of the thyroid problems I had because she listened carefully. I feel very fortunate to have her as my PCP.
Covid is an issue these days, but it is very difficult to see the doctor in person unless you actually have an issue. The annual exam is extremely important. Patients rely on their doctor to catch medical issues they may not realize exist. How is this done without being seen, prodded and questioned?
She is always prompt in responding and always makes me feel like she cares. She has helped me and my husband for years.
Dr Steinsiek has been my doctor for 9 years, and even though I moved to Ashland I still keep driving to Medford because of her excellent care. I have recently been very ill, and she has made the extra effort to call and check in on me. Previous commenters complained about wait time, and it can be true, but it’s only because she is a phenomenal doctor that so many people seek her care.
On at least 3 occasions I have waited (in the buff) for at least 45 minutes for her without anyone coming in to say a word to me. No Sorry you had to wait- ever! My last visit was for my annual and she spent most of the time entering info onto the computer- and several entries were wrong. Prescriptions were goofed up. Previous concerns are not addressed. I felt like communication was off- I felt pressured because she was already so late- she did not ask to clarify what I said.
Want reliable medical/care and attention? Dr. Jill is a top choice. Her follow up on your progress is way above average. Her attention to the latest uddates and her use of proper preventitive living habits makes for a well rounded healthy improvement in your health and lifestyle..
A very obsessive compulsive person. She was lost in her focus on clerical issues and did not spend time listening or showing empathy. Very fanatical concerns with the slightest abnormality in test results. I did not have the feeling that she likes her work. There making a buck and frustrated with the drudgery of working with the average person, elitism. Worst part was the gossip. Yuck! Bad experience! Would not reccomend her to anyone!
Jill is a wonderful, caring doctor with a lot of knowledge. She always takes the time necessary to help (which frequently ends up with her running behind schedule, so do expect a little longer wait time, but it's worth it!). If you need to get in with a specialist, she is on top of things and gets you in as fast as possible. If she finds out about something concering(lab results, for example), she won't make you wait - she will call at 6, 8pm even to talk to her patients. She is straight forward, kind, and truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!
Dr, Steinsiek has helped me with so many of my health issues. If she doesn't know about certain issues she refers you excellent specialists in that particular area. She cares about you as a person, is very kind, and compassionate. She spends as much time with you as you need and tries t address all your issues. She is an excellent doctor. She is by far the best PCP I have had since I moved to Oregon. Tanya is an excellent MA. She gets back to me promptly with the answers to my questions if Dr. Steinsiek can't.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
