MIchele Rushton's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rushton seemed like a kind Dr.who listened. I was her patient for 1 1/2 years. My relationship to her was uneventful and I had appt every 3 month and that was pretty much all I needed. Then I injured my rotator cuff in right shoulder. The pain was terrible. This is when everything changed. I called because the pain would become unbearable and I didn't know what had happened at the time. Dr. Rushton never saw me for the shoulder. I was sent to have an x-ray and that was all. I had worn down cartilage but that was a long standing problem. No further investigation was conducted. I was treated in a way that was humiliating. The receptionist sent me to the office manager who told me not to call except for refills or emergencies. I was told that my medical records were not private and that anyone could call concerning me without my permission. I then quit Dr. Rushton. Then I was told that the previous information regarding privacy was incorrect. However when I tried to get an appointment with her because of the "change" doctor Rushton dismissed me. I had never been rude or unkind to her or staff but the receptionist told me for no apparent reason that if I ever called back they would call the police. I know Dr Rushton is liked and I had no problem with her or her staff until the injury to my shoulder. I was left shaken and traumatized by my closing experiences with her and the whole thing is inexplicable to me to this day. I found out too that there is no protection for patients in this situation as a doctor can "dismiss" a patient for no reason or for any unknown reason.

Dr. Rushton is a kind, intelligent and caring Doctor. I never felt rushed. Her exams and responses to my health concerns were thorough. Her team was responsive. I am so bummed that she is leaving. If you are reading this because you are considering choosing her for your medical care, consider yourself very lucky to have her as an option..

Website says she is accepting new patients but when I called I was told that she was not. No offer to help me find another doctor, no referral, NOTHING.

She's been my Doctor for about a year. She always seems to have time to listen, and always cares about me as a person. I really like her manner as a physician, and her personal caring. She takes time to listen carefully to what I do say, and what I don't. I highly recommend this Doctor.

She is Amazing!!!!

Dr.Rushton is aways on top of my medical care and couldn't be nicer or more prompt...for my mom too. Dr. Rushton is very knowledgeable about many different issues. Young or old, skin, internal, nerve damage...it would be a real disappointment if I were unable to have her as my Doctor.

Dr. Rushton has been my physician for several years and has been there for me and my family through all of the health challenges that occur with aging. She is compassionate, caring, and I highly recommend her to any individual who is seeking a knowledgeable and thorough physician!

Dr. Rushton spends the time you need, is caring and smart! I enjoy my visits with her. She has helped me so much with my difficult health.

I can't believe this dr would dismiss a patient who has memory problems because they forgot their appointments. It's one of the issues that is related to my LIFE LONG MEDICAL condition. The receptionist asks, "Is there a medical problem that you need to see the Dr right away?" YES and because of my medical condition, MY MEMORY LOSS is one of the conditions. Anyone who knows me will verify that... But since I forgot my appointment, the dr wants to send me elsewhere instead of helping me.... I have to spend money and time I don't have to go all the way back to Cali to see A REAL CARING DR. WHO CARES ABOUT HER PATIENTS AND DON'T DISMISS THEM CAUSE THEY MISS A SCHEDULED APPT. Well I'm glad that I found out now how uncaring .and unprofessional this dr really is. I just hope there is a good one somewhere in this place...
