I had an ankle replacement 10 years ago at Stanford. Unfortunately in the years since I have mistreated my ankle and consequently am in a lot of pain. Since then I have consulted doctors in LA, Eugene and Portland. None have met the standard of Dr. Owen. He is very personable and explains everything very clearly. It is very apparent he knows his stuff! His expertise and genuine care and passion about what he does comes through in every appointment. For the first time in 10 years I feel I have found a doctor I can put my trust in!

I’ve seen Dr. Owen for about three or four years dealing with a degenerating ankle joint. He has always been incredibly informative and clear on all the options and the possible scenarios for me to consider. About one year ago I had my total ankle replacement surgery by Dr. Owen. My life has drastically improved since then. And the surgery was a hard one for him by his own admission but the results are exceptional. I went from living with constant pain in my ankle to almost no pain. The surgery was well worth the effort. And Dr. Owen is in my book an exceptional surgeon.

Dr. Owens has compassionate bed side manner. He also ensures you are educated on multiple options of treatment. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my ankle.
