Thorough, thoughtful and attentive!

She has her patients call her Dr. Kana because her name is hard to pronounce. Dr. Kana is one of the best and most professional Dr.'s I have ever met. She was my Father's Dr. until he passed away and she was my Mother's Dr. too. She is very compassionate and treated my parents with the utmost dignity. When she talked to my parents she made sure they understood their illness and patiently answered any questions they had. When my Mother was reaching the last few weeks of her life, Dr. kana explained to her and me what was going on and that Home Hospice would be something that would benefit her. Dr. Kana explained to my Mother what the process was and made sure my Mother understood and she asked if we had any questions. After my Mother passed away, Dr. Kana reached out to our Family and offered her condolences and told us it was her pleasure to take care of my Mother. I would highly recommend Dr. Kana to anyone who needs a Dr. in the pulmonary field. Thank you Dr. Kana, God bless you.

Dr. Kana is amazing! she really cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to take care of her patients , I would recommend Dr.Kana to all of my family members .

I preface this review by saying that I am a retired operating room nurse and very familiar with physicians and their abilities. Dr. Kana has been my pulmonologist for four years. I have multiple medical issues including COPD and a successfully removed lung cancer. Dr. Kana has been with me through it all. She is incredibly knowledgeable of pulmonary medicine and has taken exceptional care of me. I am here because of Dr. Kanagalingam. I cannot thank her enough.

Dr Kanagalingam (Dr Kana as we call her) is an AMAZING physician!!!!!!! She treated my parents who had many health issues, with respitory being at the top of the list. Dr Kana was very kind, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive, understanding, comforting and thorough with all my parents health care needs. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. Not only is she an AMAZING physician, but she has a warm, caring and professional office staff. I would HIGHLY recommend becoming her patient. Dr. Kana, keep smiling and keep doing what you do so well.

I think that she saved my husband's life. She has been my husband's pulmonologist since we arrived in mid 2019. He has a very serious lung disease that has him on Oxygen 24/7 and has affected his heart. He was going downhill. She never gave up. And in spite of a grueling schedule, managed to find the right combination of medicines to get rid of 36 pounds of water weight without destroying his kidneys. We had tried all sorts of options. The next step was the hospital during this Covid pandemic. This was the last try. She was with us every step of the way. She called us almost daily at the beginning. It is her interest in us, her caring way, her knowledge of her field, her clear-sightedness and her understanding my husband and his needs and at the same time understanding his disease and the options for his survival that made his current improvement at all possible.

Dr.Kana has been by doctor for the past few years and she has been amazing at helping me out the best that she can. She has always been very kind, answers all of my question, is always on top of things, always looking for what’s best for me and for other help when needed. She is quick at getting back to me and one of the only doctors I know who will personally call me when I have a question. I highly recommend her!
