I was referred to the OCRC for my FtM top surgery and could not be happier with my experience! The front office staff is very friendly and helpful, and my questions are always answered in a complete and timely manner. Dr. Jenq did an AMAZING job on my top surgery and has a courteous and professional bedside manner.If you're nervous about finding a good clinic like I was, I highly recommend the OCRC. They truly care about their patients' needs and will make sure your experience is as comfortable, humanizing and empowering as possible.

I cut my thumb really bad. Oregon health plan wasn't going to pay for my surgery because I smoked cigarettes. I had to have surgery because I severed the tendon and Dr. Jeng went to bat for me and helped me get my surgery done. Thanks to her I now have full use of my thumb and hand again. Thank you Dr. Jeng!

I had surgery to correct a problem on my left hand near my ring finger from Dupuytren's condition. I am very satisfied with the results. It was a delicate surgery. The nerves need to be protected in order for the finger to work correctly. I was concerned because my brother and a friend of mine had similar surgery, but they lost the use of their fingers. I have full use of my left hand. This is 5 days after surgery.Now I have to wait for the incision to heal before I golf again. Unfortunately, I won't have any excuses for any bad golf shots due to surgery.Good job Dr Jenq and thanks to the nurses and office staff also.

My breast explant with Dr. Jenq was outstanding she removed implants that were 24 years old she is very talented, very professional and in fact outstanding!

I will update this if things change. But so far, following an August consult, my family has had a very difficult time actually obtaining the surgery date discussed. We were told that our family member could have surgery in December. It is now December and STILL we don't have a date set, because the office does not return our *many* calls. We have not had this issue with any other doctors, ever. Today, when I tried calling, their number does not work. We can't plan our lives--work schedules, school schedules, schedules for healthcare for the rest of the family, whether or not we are traveling at the holidays, or whether others will travel to us--all due to the difficulty of working with this office. Unacceptable.

I first saw Dr. Tina Jenq in September 2018 for carpal tunnel release surgery on my right hand. I'm a machinery mechanic by trade and it was to the point that I couldn't feel small tools and parts in my hands after a short time while working with my arms raised. Many mornings I had to ask my wife to button my shirt for me, I couldn't feel anything with my finger tips. Dr. Jenq did a beautiful job and the relief was immediate! No more numbness at all, and to observe the healing process was amazing. After the stitches were removed, the incision just kept fading away to the point that I have to really look for where the cut was even made, she is truly an artist with a scalpel, and so nice, just a kind, compassionate human being as well as a gifted surgeon.Fast forward a year and it's time to have my left hand carpal tunnel taken care of. I did have a bit of trouble and confusion at first in setting up the surgery, I believe they were in the midst of some front desk personnel changes but that settled out and things were running smoothly again.So this time, Dr. Jenq did a wonderful job on my left hand, same immediate relief and disappearing surgery scar.I'm so grateful to Dr. Jenq for restoring the use of my hands to what they once were. Not only for my work, but with my left hand especially. The return of the ability to form chords and play the guitar again for more than a few minutes at a time before numbness would set in and stop me is a gift. Before, I'd have to quit playing after a short while and shake and flex my hand and arm to get the feeling back, not any more! I've been playing for over 50 years, and to have that joy back in my life is immeasurable.Thank you, Dr. Jenq!

First, the good: Dr. Jenq is kind and has a pleasant, easygoing demeanor. Next, the bad: I saw Dr. Jenq because I fell down a 90-foot cliff in Mexico and broke 21 bones, including my left thumb. Instead of listening to my symptoms and recognizing the acute trauma that had brought me to her, she diagnosed my swollen, excruciatingly painful thumb with "trigger finger," despite my accident and despite the fact that none of my symptoms actually aligned. I had to push and push for her to even refer me for an MRI.Lastly, the ugly: it took over two weeks for Dr. Jenq to even send the referral through, and another 8 days after I finally got the MRI for her to actually read and relay the results to me. Of course, the scan confirmed what I already knew: my thumb was broken.If you're looking for a physician who actually listens and makes intelligent diagnoses, look elsewhere.

Dr.Jenq is the most professional, caring, skilled surgeon, and I am grateful for her dedication and fixing a complication that arose that can happen naturally from the risks of surgery, you are in excellent hands with her, the nurse and receptionist!

Had top surgery here. The good news is I'm healing well and the bad news is everything else. This entire office, up to and including Dr Jenq, cannot communicate effectively or keep anything straight. I saw her for a consult and was told to wait for insurance to approve, and then, after checking in for MONTHS, finally got a secretary (there is heavy turnover) who said my file looked "super messed up". I had been approved weeks after my visit but it had fallen thru the cracks completely, and because there is a time limit on these approvals (??) They scheduled me for surgery TWO WEEKS LATER. then they changed the date to a few days earlier on me. When I was distressed by this last second change, the secretary got defensive and angry with me, and was visibly annoyed with me when I came in for the pre op appointment. During this whole experience, the secretaries referred to me as Girl, despite being a 26 year old trans person, coming on for gender affirming surgery, and telling them, every time, to stop. The surgery itself, which took place elsewhere with different staff, went smoothly, but Dr Jenq brushed off my questions, I had to ask other nurses. The incisions are crude and uneven, though, and she did not keep what I had told her about my results in mind at all. I was also very afraid in the operation room, crying, and she didn't say a word to me as they put me under. It was traumatic. she had no respect for my body or comfort whatsoever and was just doing her job Dr Jenq did not give me any information on my recovery timeline or aftercare and did not assure I was safe. I wasn't given instructions on how to care for my bandages or taper off my medications. I had concerns at our one week appoinent that were ignored, and at the "3 week" which was at 5.5 weeks because they failed to schedule it and I had to reach out, I was scolded for being dissatisfied with this care. At both check ups, the doctor stood several feet away and glanced at me, not looking, touching, or asking questions. At the end of the appointment, after being berated half-naked on a cold room by someone who suggest I just tattoo the nipples she crudely cut back on, she asked if I wanted to come back in for a final appointment in a month. I said no, and she hastily left the room and told a secretary "I'm done with her." This entire ordeal was stressful and dehumanizing, I wouldn't be able to reccomend someone go under her knife with a clean conscience. My surgery wasn't for a life threatening issue, I cannot imagine how horrific the complete lack of organization and empathy on this office would be if a life was on the line. If you're reading this, please keep looking. You deserve better
