List of Acuity Mental Health's Reviews
Charmagne is a valued colleague of mine and has been for over a decade. I regularly send folks to Charmagne for her warmth and expertise in complex trauma and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Charmagne cares deeply about her clients and works diligently to provide the appropriate care to everyone she sees. Charmagne also works with folks who have particularly challenging symptoms -- she is patient, thoughtful and has a depth of knowledge that I routinely benefit from as a fellow clinician. I can't recommend her highly enough as a skilled and caring therapist!
[trigger warning: trauma, suicide] Charmagne was my first shot at therapy. She spent most of our time talking about her personal life or complaining about other clients. After almost three years of seeing her every week, she told me she thought I was raised Catholic (my parents are atheists/biologists and also pretty much the only thing I talked about). She consistently denied my experiences, talked over my stories, and told me my traumas were, indeed, my fault. Even if that last part is true, it was unhelpful and I believe was the cause of my first suicide attempt. We also never discussed any of the homework I worked so hard on. It was a complete waste of time. Unfortunately, I would have to recommend literally anyone else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
